Hope they fix this stupid bug as well. So on iPhone X, when you swipe from bottom to dismiss the control center, there is a clicking noise that you get. Only happens when the phone is not on silent. This is a software bug because the notification center when dismissed shows normal behaviour. And the clicking sound also happens maybe 8 out of 10 times specially if you swipe from the bottom of the screen. Few threads on it:

Happened 2 out of 10 times for me just now. I actually kind of like the click. Too bad it isn't more consistent.

I have my phone on silent most of the time so really doesn't bother me much. I was wondering if somehow this affects the hardware. This clearly is a bug and not a feature.

Quick reply keyboard isn’t showing up for me on the lock screen when tapping a message notification.

It is SO irritating and I just don’t know what else to do, short of just dealing with it until I’m able to upgrade. I guess I can’t complain much since it lasts me all day and I only have to charge once? Lol I’m trying to be positive because I’m worrying way too much about my battery lately, so much so that it’s giving me anxiety. I even shut off the percentage for a while so I wouldn’t have to see it and stress on it.

It is really difficult for those of us who have OCD. I am not joking. It is so easy to fixate on a small detail like battery percentage and then have it be a source of major anxiety at times like these when a new OS is being fine tuned.

True, one could argue that someone with OCD ought not be running beta OS but that again is due to HAVING OCD. You see we want to have the longest more up to date OS there is so waiting for the official public release it not an option.

Those of us with OCD are in a catch 22 situation with this battery issue.

You’ve summed up what I’ve been feeling to the t. I’m glad I’m not the only one that feels like this.

Never really paid it much attention. Since I can “feel” the click as well as hear it I just presumed it was the haptics. Interesting. It’s definitely happening for me as well just as described.

I felt the same way. System haptics has been one of my favorite iOS.... parts? I wouldn't really refer to it as a "feature" but its a nice refinement to just make the OS feel polished.

I can understand why it would bother some, though. Consistency is definitely important in a finished product.

Alright. I'm not sure if this has been reported out not 11.2.5 Beta 1... Open iMessage; open a chat; start to reply; get distracted back to the home screen; rotate to landscape; open iMessage from task switcher; rotate to portrait and Viola! You can no longer see your text box or the bottom of your messages... At least I can't. Bug?

No noticeable speed increase on my 7 Plus.
Same here I think they have switched off the setting to save battery by slowing down the cpu on older hardware so only 6s or earlier w8ll notice more speed but poor battery life and abrupt powering off
