Is anyone having issues pairing their W1 chip Bluetooth headphones using the quick set up process? My solo 3 headphones are forcing me to pair them using the normal Bluetooth menu way instead of the quick pop up that comes up for w1 headphones

So my battery life today has been wonderful. At least for me, compared to how it had been on previous betas. I’m happy with this. Still only charging once a day. Flipped on LPM soon as I hit 3%. iPhone 7 Plus.
[doublepost=1513501482][/doublepost]And now at a little over 7 hours usage. This is my first time hitting that number in a long time. No complaints. :D

Recommend running a geekbench on your 7 Plus considering you are facing severe problems with battery. See if your phone is being throttled.

Is there a free version by any chance? Trying to look it up to find out. I’m too cheap to spare the 99 cents right now, still have Christmas shopping to do that I haven’t even gotten to start yet.

Buy it, do a Geekbench to see your score and then request a refund via iTunes. That’s what I do and it works.

If you forget them from the Bluetooth menu and reconnect them are you getting the pop up message to set them back up when you flip the case cover open?

I forgot them from the Bluetooth menu and when I opened the lid of the case, the message of not your airpods popped up and I had to connect by pressing the button on the back of the case.

I didn't scam anyone. I said if the person just wants to know the score once to determine if the battery is defective it can be done. I have purchased the app four times on different iCloud accounts. If I want it try an app before I buy I do it.

That’s not happening for me idk why

Anyone else had a problem with the display brightness being dialled down to zero when they go to unlock it? (makes it somewhat difficult to get it back). Yes, I have auto-brightness disabled.

Happened once on 11.2 and now on beta 1. (and, yes, pretty damn sure that the screen was locked before it went into my coat pocket).

Going to be extra mindful to ensure that's the case and report it the next time it happens.

Per app battery percentages have disappeared (again) with this beta. After the beta was installed, I charged to 100% and then unplugged. A day later, battery stats shows 39 minutes of use and 24+ hours of standby and the battery has discharged from 100% to 90%. However, the per app percentages section is still totally missing. This is not new to this beta, but it certainly isn't fixed either.

What features do you have enabled/how old is the battery? I'm able to hit about 8-9 with that kind of use on iOS 10. Those numbers are concerning, not encouraging. :/

I noticed that out of nowhere my battery life went to crap and it’s saying mostly mail. It’s also rather warm.

For one thing, I was only happy because believe it or not it was way worse than this before. Ever since I went to iOS 11. I have ALL Siri search and suggestions off for all apps, also Safari, auto-brightness on, background app refresh off, most of my location services stuff is off and the apps I use it on are set to only when using. I’ve had the phone for about 10 months. :-/
[doublepost=1513540608][/doublepost]I also always have Bluetooth on, even when not connected to my earbuds. Not see if that’s causing any problems. Always connected to Wi-Fi except when leaving home to head to work or elsewhere. Then back on Wi-Fi at work. Started putting it on airplane mode there because our Wi-Fi sucks.

Hmm, then perhaps it's the age of the battery? I have Bluetooth on all the time too to stay connected to my Apple Watch. My phone is 5 months old, so that might explain the better battery too.

I would disable email acct, reboot then enable again. Sounds like its hung up trying to fetch mail. That used to be a pretty common issue especially with exchange configured emails but doesn't seem to be as common now but does still happen.

I think it could be the age also. I wonder how difficult it would be to get it replaced. I’m looking into upgrading to the X when tax season arrives and I get my refund back. Still love this phone, don’t get me wrong. But the X looks amazing and I want to get my hands on it!

I disabled email and rebooted. It then proceeded to lose 4 percent in 20 minutes for no reason.

iPhone ex seems to be the cure of some people and their complains for now. Don’t know how long it will last but well.
