Apparently wireless charging no longer works on my X. After the update I was at 77% and I dropped it on my desk charger since my battery stats were reset. After almost 30 minutes I tapped the screen and was greeted with "77% Charged". Powered off and back on and after another 10 minutes on the charger it was still at 77%. I plugged in to the lightning cable I use to charge my work 6s and the percentage climbed normally.

Anybody have a wireless charger handy to test?
Mine has the same problem too... when I put it on the wireless charger, it seemed to be charging but the percentage never moved up

Update: restarted the phone, now works normally...

Didn’t even intend to install the beta yet but I wasn’t quick enough when the confirm box popped up. I tapped install later, because I wanted to wait until the battery ran down, but I wasn’t quick enough and it installed it anyway. Now my battery stats ended up resetting.

Ah, I see. I would highly advise to stop performing what you refer to as a restart. That is actually a HARD RESET and is the same as yanking the battery out of your laptop while it's on, which is not good. Only do this when you are having certain issues. All other times, you should shutdown your phone by sliding to power off (button hold is dependent upon iPhone model) or through Settings-->General-->Shutdown.

Or Hold volume up/down while holding side button to properly shut down

Oddly the keyboard sounds are being controlled by the music / video volume on my iPhone 7 Plus... After watching a youtube vid and turning the volume about half way all alerts got lower. They all got louder again when I turned the volume back up (ringer still set at low)...

Anyone know how to shut off the Gboard keyboard clicking sound? the one in iPhone settings is turned off. Ugh. I don't mind it being louder but this is too loud.

So, sounds like another 10 betas before this one is ready? Unless of course some random date bug appears crashing phones.

Think I might wait till final and then wait some more to see what people say.

Small change I noticed on the ipad pro 10.5. The animation when closing an app that is launched from the dock now closes smoother into the app icon. Before there was a bit of a jerky animation on the app icon.

Scrolling through the multitasking app cards and other mulitasking animations still aren’t as smooth as they were on ios 10 though.

Did reduce transparency stop working in Mail app? I have a red wallpaper home screen, just opened an email thread and the list of emails are pink. Will post pics soon but even having issues with edits/markup.

So far can’t find other apps doing this.
[doublepost=1515031543][/doublepost]It is the home screen wallpaper. I changed it to all black and the emails in list that were pink changed to gray.

This update has caused a few issues with apps that wasn't present in the previous build. Lots of freezing and stuttering across most of my apps.
I have the same issue. Open any app. The app takes 5-10 seconds to open. It crashes. Open it again. It takes 5-10 seconds to start. Then, scroll or switch tabs or press a button, and its slow to respond taking 5 seconds for an action to perform. This ia true for all apps, system or 3rd party. I cant use my phone now. iPhone 7+. :(

Apparently never mind. Same issue on my iPad running 11.2.1

Shouldn’t erase anything?!
My downloaded songs were cleaned out with iCloud/Apple Music Library turn off when updating to PB 2.

Does this update erase local music libraries on a device?
I can’t say if this beta update deleted anything as I ended up not downloading any songs since I’m subscribed to Apple Music but it didn’t deactivate Apple Music or my iCloud Music Library this time around.

Battery life seems pretty great so far on iPhone 8 Plus. Been in a wifi call with a friend for several hours & I’m still going strong
