Wish they’d add a setting to adjust the volume of the keyboard “clicks” and such.

I have issues hearing certain frequencies in my right ear and while it was a bit much before the fix, I’d like it a little louder than it is now in beta 4.

[doublepost=1515537452][/doublepost]Agreed, wasn’t fixed for me in 11.2.2.

[doublepost=1515537604][/doublepost]My weather widget bug was closed and duped to another one which is still open.

Engineering did however have me generate a number of logs after reproducing the issue with the widget.

Let's hope they fix it for good at some point (sooner rather than later).

EE UK 31.1

What does that mean? Whilst its a carrier update, what actually happens? lol. What changes?
I'm using 11.2.5 beta 1 and am on EE 31.1, so thats not just changed.
[doublepost=1515539421][/doublepost]Any 6S+ users tried the PB version yet?

Attention aware for phone calls is also not working for me in my iPX. The volume stays the same when I look at the phone and does not lower.

Also, the auto brightness is not adjusting for dimming. It does adjust the display brighter when I go into a brighter room but it will not adjust dimmer when I go into a dark room - this is pretty annoying for me.

Other than these two items and the broken weather widget, this beta seems pretty good.

beta should improve somethings but doesnt

A lot of people us betas for new features and to iron bugs from public one but I know where your coming from
Beta is not nor ever meant for software improvement. It is a stage of software development. Developers can take out old working features, add new functions, or alter existing functions all for development purposes. There is no warranty to ensure beta release is as stable as official release. No liability is required. Use beta software at your own risk.

In what regard?
Bugs, performance, features?

Attention awareness for calls doesn’t work for me on 11.2.5, I think if does in 11.2.2.

Music player widget shows the Bluetooth or Airplay device you’re connected to correctly on 11.2.5. It didn’t display correctly on 11.2.1. Not sure about 11.2.2.

Some Airplay 2 features work on 11.2.5. That didn’t work on 11.2.1. Not sure about 11.2.2.

Performance seems good on my end. The bug with the obnoxiously loud keyboard and system sounds has been resolved. Apparently my phone alone has been affected by a bug that causes extremely slow charging times and that seems to still be an issue.

I don’t use AirPlay all that often and I skipped the gym tonight which is the only place I use Bluetooth headphones so I can’t comment on either of those.

No Tone when airpods connect to my phone, nor a disconnect tone. Can anyone else confirm?

Safari on my iPad Pro 10.5 is super responsive. It’s flying, compared to last beta.

Definitely more pleased with beta 4.

I should get royalties whenever this shows up!

Just tried it and at first it t¡didn't make the connect sound, but after I put them out of my ear and back in, they had make the sound, so know its normal, or at least by this time.

Swiping up from the dock and going in and out of apps in multitasking view is still stuttery. We’re nearly up to 11.3 now and it’s still god awful. This is on a 2017 12.9 iPad with ProMotion by the way. It feels like it’s running below 30fps it’s that bad, and given the hardware it really shouldn’t be. Giving up with these betas because iOS 11 is just a poorly unoptimised pile of crap no matter how many point updates they release. Will have to wait until iOS 12 now in hopes they’ll focus on nothing but performance, although knowing Apple these days they’ll probably make it even worse.

Hi, did anyone can confirm, that lag issue is solved?

Andy

My iPad Air 2 was lagging on Beta 3 big time. I rolled back to Beta 2 and it corrected. I just updated to Beta 4, and it’s fine here too. Might I suggest trying that if you’re still on Beta 3 and experiencing lag?

Unfortunately it does not seem to be resolved. Have been in my office with the phone on the charger for 34 minutes (yes, I've been timing it) and it's gone up 3%.

What level was the phone at when you plugged it in?

I’ve found the last two betas have slowed the phone charging down. My X used to take just over 2hrs from 1% with Apple 29w USB-C and Apple USB-C to lightning cable.

The past 2 charges have taken 2hrs 45mins on beta 3 & 4.

But I do find that even with the USB-C or iPad charger that if the device is over 80% then it charges a lot slower. The only time it seems to be quicker is if I have it plugged into my Anker 4 port charger in the car which has 12w 2.4a per port and I’m using navigation.

Good thing my 12.9 Pro is still on iOS 10. Flawless experience.

Another instance of Apple not optimising iOS for older devices. When Safari is open, swipe up control center and then 3DT the music box. On iPhone 7 Plus there is a very low frame rate animation while on X it’s 60fps smooth.

A lot of people were tracing on official apple forum for attention awarenes for low call rings and they solved them with off the function for all. Maybe apple solve the problem in 11.2.5 and off function for call... :-/

Still in early use of this beta as I just updated an hour ago but so far the sound bug is gone and no app crashes. Feels more snappy as well. Major improvement over beta 3 which was my worst one so far

Hopefully this stays stable and they don’t mess with it much more
