The most annoying bug for me is the missing attention assist for incoming calls.
Make sure that you report it using the feedback app, this goes for anyone else having the issue.

I've been reporting it every build that it's been broken.

Has anyone seen this happen? It’s happened at the last couple updates but could never get a screen shot. It’s after typing in someone’s number that is in your contacts.

Can anybody compare this between with the current 2.2 non beta? Better or worse? Anything worth upgrading for?

So far not seeing much change on iP6s. Standby battery seems to be pretty stellar though. Just updated Saturday night so not a long time on it. Probably I would hold off if I were u as another beta or release prob tomorrow or this week. Nothing earth shattering to upgrade for from 11.2.2. IMHO.

The biggest differences for me coming from 11.2.2 to this beta are Safari performance improvements (not placebo), and somewhat better battery life. Overall performance is more or less the same.

On my 5S, I noticed one time when I unlocked the device, I would see app randomly dimmed one at a time and the app name would say "Cleaning up". After a few seconds, it would stop. Any one notice this?

I noticed this too immediately after installing the beta build. I have 14GB of free space, so I know it’s not clearing caches due to limitations. I was a little taken aback.

On a separate front, are you seeing issues with sending as SMS over WiFi? Namely with WiFi calling active (Verizon here). I get delivery errors somewhat often.

Initially, after installing the beta, I did had T-Mobile WiFi calling issue where it was delayed a few seconds before dial tone and once connected the other end caller would hear static/noise that it wasn't clear for them but I could hear everything perfectly. After a few more hours later, it would work perfectly fine. No problem with text or MMS but I do feel it took a few seconds longer to send though

Ok something has changed with charging recently and it also affects 11.2.2.

I plugged my X into my 29w USB-C charger at 9% last night and after 45mins it had only increased 39%!

It’s supposed to do 50% in 30mins but seems it has been throttled back by Apple recently.

I downgraded to 11.2.2 yesterday to check this and last nights result was on 11.2.2.

I am going to get the charger replaced to rule that out. But I’m doubtful that is the issue as it worked fine until recently.

When looking on coconut it’s only charging with 5.65w. If I plug the phone into my MacBook USB 3 port it charges at circa 4.85w from the same amount of battery percentage.

It seems there are several complaints here on the same issue. Most likely not your charger but a software issue.

I’ve noticed this all throughout iOS 11 and not just on the betas. I believe it was only after plugging my device(s) in to power. I mentioned this awhile back and someone said it’s not new to iOS 11 though. Go figure.

Yeah I've been seeing major slowdowns in my charging times. The wireless charger I use on my desk basically evens out the charge/discharge process (phone can be on the charger for hours and go up only by a couple percentage points).

Can't imagine why they would do this intentionally unless they're trying to push people into buying their fast charging solution which doesn't seem all that crazy to me in this day and age.

Pretty sure it’s a certain that they would NOT do something like that in light of recent information that came forward about batteries and throttling phones. Apple may get ahead of themselves sometimes, but they aren’t a stupid company.

Didn't you also state the same thing was happening while the device (iPhone) was plugged into direct power supply not using wireless charger?

with all the 11.2.5 betas can some one tell me plz what has changed as since 11.2.2 it looks and feels exactly the same, nothing smoother and no new features or tweeks it cant be all under the hood

It most certainly can be, and probably is, “all under the hood.”

Yes. I've tried all variations (wireless charger, lightning cable plugged into computer USB, lightning cable plugged into wall charger).

Reason to be hopeful battery life will improve from 11.2.2 it sounds like..

I’m not a heavy user and I’ve been charging my ip7 1.5 times a day since 11.2.1

I`ve managed to get over 95 hours of standby out of my iP X. I activated Low Power Mode at around 10%, iOS 11.2.2.

Ok so most likely (hopefully) just a software issue that can be addressed at some point. Seems its mostly the X though as don't recall seeing any iP8 reports on this issue.

It should be mostly under the hood changes. Lord knows iOS 11.x needs some. Also there is a new items in that Siri will fire off podcast for news when asked to read me the news. Four options to choose from (I believe it is) But typically an x.x.X update IS all about bug fixes.

[Edit] Apparently the Siri news changes are server side as release versions have the option now. Not just this beta.

The slow charging for me is all wired using Apple 29w USB-C and genuine Apple USB-C to lightning cable. It seems to be no faster than the supplied charger.
