Runs better than 11.2.2 did for me on an iPhone 7, thus far. Seems slightly quicker overall, and Safari is legitimately faster; it seemed to feel bogged down a tad on 11.2.2.On 11.2.2. Tempted by public beta again.

Whenever I’m on WiFi, the Spotify app says that I am offline, weird
Could be a Spotify issue.Spotify issue could be isolated to North America, not sure if it's beta related or not
How long are you on 11.2.5 beta 5 yet? More than 12 hours?
Did you also move to a different location/city and checked whether the widget’s location got updated as well?
You would assume wrong. Throw a dart blindly at this thread and you’ll hit a post about it.I assume that the weather is fixed!
Is the bug fixed since 11.2 where in iMessage, messages show out of order? Like if you ask someone a question, their reply shows up ABOVE your question?[/QUOTE
Had beta 4 on Tuesday, 5 yesterday and haven't noticed this bug since beta 4. Hopefully it's fixed. It was happening regularly through beta 3.
Now if they would only fix quick reply duplicate and ghost messages in the reply window, I'd be thrilled.

Wow so a frame drop is a "major issue" but an incorrect weather forecast is just an inconvenience? Yeah ok then. So people look at the weather just to see the pretty graphics, not to get any valid/correct weather data. (See how silly that sounds)Yes cos lag and smoothness is something quite major for your iphone a weather app not working where you can download loads isnt as major get my point, ill stop talking about lag when my X starts running without frame drops thank you
Interesting I tried this and it determined my location as a small town close to me (several miles away) But the app actually determines the area I am actually in. Wonder if this is part of the reason things are broken with the widget? Maybe its determining the location like the browser and not matching what the location in the app is so there is a mismatch? And in my case the two locations are close enough that sometimes the temps are the exact same anyway so not realizing its showing two different places. ????? Good theory anyway.Actually what i have done is - i opened, the weather channel, and it tells me that cannot determine my location, i set it to mine and after that i have no problems with weather- did this via Safari, and it asked me for my location!!!!
You can try this!!!
About 24 hours now and ever time I click on it the weather temp matches the current local temp. I've tried several times all around SF. Before it would often be off by several degrees.

Put it this way, IF the lag was real as you say it is, I wouldn't mind a micro stutter when I look at the weather as long as the weather info is correct and not from a day or so ago. However opening the weather app very fast and no frame drop or stutter but giving me the incorrect info isn't quite as useful and would appear to be more of a "major issue".
So if I allow Safari access to location the correct one is chosen on weatherchannel.com. Otherwise some village/city around me, what makes the difference in the widget. Trying it now and will check back tomorrow. Time to sleep now here near Munich. The same for me, small village near meProbably thats the point!
Now it’s Saturday 8:22 a.m. here in Germany and the widget was NOT updated since 11 p.m yesterday. - it’s still showing the timeline starting at 11 p.m.So if I allow Safari access to location the correct one is chosen on weatherchannel.com. I’ve got an x, what bug is this so I can check for youIs the overly bug fixed on iPhone X? I totally hate it...
On my 6s after beta 6 is ok!
Nope, Nothing you do will fix it. Its all in Apples hands to release a fix for it at this point. Not worked right since iOS 11.0 beta 1. Its better now in 11.2.5 b5 but still refreshes only at random times and not really worth trying to use. Best to screenshot the differences and submit as bug report with attachments until they finally fix it.Seems my widget is actually working. It updated locations when I went to work too. FWIW, I reset my phone and set it up as new recently, and then decided to try using the widget again and it’s been fine ever since.
Edit: Spoke too soon. :-/ Temperatures for later in the day just changed in the app but haven’t changed on the widget. Would changing location for this app to always fix that I wonder?

Yeah that's what you have to do anyway, open widget, click on it to see the correct weather. Ha, sorta defeats the point of a widget. Functions more like just another icon to launch the weather app now.Agreed. Not even gonna bother with it anymore, I already removed the widget again. No use stressing over it when I can just check the app whenever.
