Status of weather widget bug and iMessages out of order bugs?

No need to get defensive. All I was simply saying is that it shouldn’t be a big deal considering the plethora of weather apps which are better and have nicer widgets.

While I also have weather line installed, some folks would rather not install “another” app for functionality that is provided by an existing stock app.

Expecting beta software to run faster than official release is understandable but not reasonable, as this is not how beta software used for.

But sure, if it runs faster then why not?

How can you tell if the weather widget has updated or not?

Just tap it and let it open the app. You will see the correct info in the app and compare and see if it matches. Also the hourly may not update either so that’s a sure sign too.

I have several weather apps depending on my setup. Carrot for my WATCH, Weather Live for iPhone/iPad and widgets, WU for Doppler radar in widgets.

One of these days, a developer will make one kick ass weather app across all devices for every situation and reap the rewards.

I second Storm. Crazy customization. GUI isn’t obvious but once you get it you’re good. I like tracking the wind flows around storms. For radar/lightning I still lean on Radar Scope.

Sure, but if that functionality isn't working the alternative is to use another app since not much else can be done about getting it fixed until it's actually fixed.

Safari is a pain in the ass, especially on youtube- and facebook-website.

And after cleaning the browser files safari always crashes once when after starting.

I’ve reported your second point 2-3 times on various releases. Seems it doesn’t matter to them.

When you turn off “Siri and Search suggestions” for an app, there’s now an option to still allow the app to appear in spotlight (“Show App”).

The weather widget finally seems fixed on my x. I’ve checked it several times and it always matches the temp when I open the app. I won’t hold my breath though.

How long are you on 11.2.5 beta 5 yet? More than 12 hours?
Did you also move to a different location/city and checked whether the widget’s location got updated as well?

I am running 11.2.5 Beta 2 (15D5046b)..been running smooth getting 8 Hrs....I will slide over and try this Beta....

Not wanting to nag or anything... but this beta has worsened the AirPods connectivity. Connection with the phone is very hit & miss, auto ear detection fails 5/10 times. i wear the AirPods in rotation left & right all day but calls are going to the phone and not the AirPods.

On the previous beta, WiFi sometimes disconnect when not in use and reconnect once device is unlocked. I am checking if this beta fix that issue.

Storm (by WeatherUnderground) is in my opinion the best weather app out there. However, for the widget, I use BeWeather(free) since the widget is fully customizable and updates instantly without issues.

I’m less of a power user than many of you here, but for whatever it’s worth, here’s another data point:

Beta 5 has been working perfectly well for me since installing it 24 hours ago. Everything is smooth and speedy. A noticeably better experience than beta 4. So far.

Spotify issue could be isolated to North America, not sure if it's beta related or not
