Weird, my original download was 178mb, the download failed though and when it started again it said download size was 2.2gb. Wonder what happened, anyone else experience this?

Official is 178mb while 2.2gb is more for beta 7. Make sure to remove any beta profile.

So I don't know if it's just me but I can't trigger the month 13 bug in Console after installing this public version but I could trigger it in beta 7. Been watching it in Console for the past 10 minutes trying to trigger it and it hasn't yet.

Battery life is more worse and please don't tell me cache and indexing formula.

Sometimes when press the power button to turn on the screen the iPhone X does nothing, then i press it again and automatically enters in Apple Pay... this happn to me even recently restored. It seems that with iOS 11.2.5 It happens less times.

Is a bug of iOS or a problem of my phone?

On 11.2.5 beta 7.
Removed beta profile.
Still no OTA for 11.2.5.
Unable to do anything through itunes.
How do i get on 11.2.5?

After downloading a delta update, iOS builds a new copy of the system partition by merging the delta update with the previous version you had installed. After doing that, it runs a verification to make sure that there is no corruption. If this verification fails, it'll download the complete iOS image.

What basically happened is there was some corruption somewhere, the system caught it, and is fully reinstalling your system partition (NOT your data, that's fine). No big deal other than a longer download.

Flip. My bookmarks won’t sync & i think its bc im on a beta os.
If your version (build #) in settings>general>about is 11.2.5 (15D60) you are on the release version. The last beta from Friday and today's release are one and the same.

Seeing a lot more system glitches between scrolling and opening apps etc than I seen on 11.2.2

Thanks for explaining what happened, this is the first time this happens to me.

This bloody update!! Installed iOS 11.2.5 on my iPhone X and it bricked a few of the Apple apps, like mail, music & reminders.

I actually had to re-download them from the App Store to fix this issue.

Is this happening to anyone else??? This has actually messed up my music app now

Has anyone tried factory resetting iPhone X after this update to see if it runs better on a fresh install? I did the clear ram trick and it got better, but still doesn’t feel as smooth as 11.2.2.

Yes was running well on the beta but wanted a clean install , early days but def better for me than 11.2.2

You could try resetting all settings first . This fixed a few issues previously for me.

Good advice. I’ll try that first. Definitely easier than clean install :)

11.2.2 > 11.2.5 on my X for sure. I will not be upgrading to 11.2.5 regardless of the security issue

My 6s is on 11.2.5 beta 6, I deleted the beta profile but still don’t see the option to update to the Final release.
Any suggestions?

I'd update using iTunes and the IPSW file. I've found this better anyway, especially going through the beta's :)
