Anybody else getting a verification error saying you aren’t connected to the internet? My X has refused to update for the last hour or so.

Update: Nevermind, obviously other people are having the same issue lol
Try using iTunes.

You haven’t linked it to restarts at all?
Not really but I rarely restart. I will pay closer attention to it and see what it does. Most times I just open app store to check and don't use 3D touch to update anyway. I like to see whats being updated and why :)

Just checked and not in the menu but when checked apps there are 4 to update. So I would think its still not working as it should.

Yes, this is a bug when Darken Colors is toggled.
Ah good find. I thought they just changed the stock app LOL.

After more than 24 hours of use..
I belive Beta 2 is way slower than Beta 1, also has worse battery life.
Everything's slow, from Safari to different apps. Beta 1 was better.
Is it just me?
You didn't state what device but iP6s here and seems really fast to me. And battery seems fine so far. Miles better than any 11.0's for sure. And several issues from b1 were resolved for me.

Sort of hoping the battery life will match 11.2 beta 1. Thought I’d see how far it would go and two full days before a recharge is pretty good.

Anyone else swipe up from the bottom to bring up the launch bar/ multitasking randomly quit working on their iPad?

Also having the same issue with my X.

Still experiencing times where Siri and Dictation decide not to respond to input.

Anyone experiencing hangs in this beta. Never had this issue on any previous betas. A lot of the apps (native and App Store) just hang and don't respond until 15-20 seconds. Using a 7 Plus.

So many audio issues and I don’t know which ones are app-specific vs iOS-specific vs iPhone X specific.

I’ve been trying to troubleshoot and figure out where the issues are coming from, but it’s more of a complex process than I was expecting.

Most recent issue: listening to Spotify or Apple Music at a reasonable volume via AirPods...then click on a Snapchat video and the streaming music continues to play at a normal volume and the Snapchat audio shoots the system volume to the max and blows your eardrums out.

Considering restoring to factory settings but really don’t want to have to setup everything from scratch again only to encounter the same issues.

Woof.

After updating iOS, it replaced my Proximus (Belgium) carrier settings profile with a wrong carrier settings profile (vtr 30.5.1, a carrier from Chile after looking it up). This causes my iPhone to report "No service" intermittently. I've already tried restoring network settings, removing sim, rebooting.

When I go to Info in the Settings.app, I get the alert that a carrier settings profile update is available, but tapping it does nothing.

Any idea how to fix it without a full reset and reinstall?
Anyone?

That animation has been there “forever,” i.e. since at least the iOS 6 days.
Much longer than that actually - literally since iPhone OS v1.0.0, I remember the very first iPhone reviews praising this attention to detail!

Is call handoff to your other devices new? I noticed for audio output I could send my call to my iPad from the iPhone.

I tried the following, for my failed to verify message for the public beta 2.

Delete download, multiple times
remove profile, multiple times
reset network settings, multiple times
anything else I could find via a google search, which brought me here.
All of which failed.

I had been starting the download and walking away to do other stuff, like getting ready for work ;) . I had an ah ha moment when I looked at the display and it said LTE and not WiFi (brief moment on lock screen) during one of my many tries.

What worked for me was using my iPhone X for 45 minutes straight (slow wifi network connection)
I never let the display dim, or the phone snooze off.

I kept it on and actively working reading news, browsing web pages, playing games etc, the download finished and its installing now. No failed to verify.

Clearly we all are having varied, results but maybe this will work for you. It did for me.

iirc, many years ago I to do a similar thing with ios 4, maybe 5 to get a developer beta to successfully download.

edit: Of course I could have just lucked out, but I also used the same process on my iPad with success.

Or... you could just wait for Apple to cycle the server and the problem goes away.
