iOS 11.2 Beta 2 Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

A workaround should be just leave BT on. Until if ever they decide to let you opt out once and it goes away.

Yep in 10.3.3 at least. Not sure on prior to that though.
 
Ok maybe I need to wipe the phone and re install. The same issue where my backup was from the beta and i couldn't restore with out having the beta installed. Hopefully its a software issue and its not hardware related.

Which downloaded and then threatened to install 11.2 unless I took action (no option was given in Settings > General to remove the profile).

Not a bad idea, but I can't give up my backup, lol. Oh well. Hmm. Still don't have a Profiles option in settings.
 
Is anyone having issues with signal strength and iMessage? Att iPhone X coming from a 7+, my signal is much worse, showing 4g instead of LTE a lot of places I should have LTE. And trying to send/receive messages isn't working consistently. I tried to send a video and a pic today and had to retry several times. ended up having to restart my phone twice for it to go through.

I was having this issue on my ip 7+ as well. Have it with my ipx now too. Messages are taking forever to send. I am also on ATT. My signal is weaker on the ipx then on my 7+ but the results are the same with not being able to send pics and such.

Hmm could the weather widget finally be working now? So far mine seems to be! A few times since updating to b2 and I go to widget screen I see it update and no longer see the "set up weather" brief message. It will also match the app. It hasn't really worked since 11 was released.

is the system storage taking up a good chunk of space a bug or feature?

Upcoming alarms are now showing in the Up Next widget. I think this is new?

I appreciate the workaround advice. However, I don’t think it’s reasonable to do that when I never use Bluetooth whatsoever. I’m definitely not trying to make this a big thing haha. But it’s silly.

Well the point being if that notice is annoying enough why not just turn it on? It doesn't hurt anything being on and you don't have to use BT just because its on :). But that should stop that annoyance. Guess you need to decide how annoying that message really is to you and whether you really care if its there or not.

Well there ya go! Yep same here. I had it earlier and I always manually update apps so I did a bit ago. Just tried it again just now and its gone. And of course there are no updates currently. Good catch!
 
My battery have a serious problem with this new beta (iPhone 7 plus)

I would assume that is normal behavior. Mine had only shown up once before and has been gone for months (despite checking many times when there were updates available). Also, when it showed up today, there were no updates available.

Hi,

In 11.2 beta has anyone else notice a problem with iMessage when you receive a new message.

You get a blob next to the message with a new reply, when you view the message the blob normally disappears, in 11.2 beta it doesn’t go away and still shows I have a new message when I don’t...

Anyone else got this?

1.37 hr/1.37 hrs??
Unless you are constantly using your phone since you stopped charging, there is a runaway process that is consuming your battery. Do a Hard reset to fix this.
 
Still have big issues with Bluetooth connecting to my car. Its the bluetooth phonebook syncing which is the problem. They sync very slow and it never finishes! iPhone 7. Dont seem to be having the problem with the iPhone 8 though as ive tested using a friends.


Please help!! Ive submitted loads of bug reports but none of them have been addressed.
