A bug that I’ve seen since iOS 11.0 Beta 2 has been fixed!
  • Messages no longer crashes when rearranging app drawer in landscape orientation.
Looks like maybe this one is shaking out pretty good finally. Pretty much all the annoying issues I have had an reported since 11.0 are finally being addressed. (That I remember). One last issue that just started in 11.2 is the sounds seem to be super loud and have a click like its being over driven. Never had that before 11.2 betas.

I would assume that is normal behavior. Mine had only shown up once before and has been gone for months (despite checking many times when there were updates available). Also, when it showed up today, there were no updates available.
It is. It’s that way since iOS 10. Maybe it was a bug when it showed up with no available updates.

Maybe, but what about every single other time that it doesn’t show up when there are updates available?

Are you actually constantly using the phone as the numbers suggest?

Notifications bug from beta 1 still present.

Same Here, when I tap one of my twitter notifications the rest disappear, it's really annoying.

Same problem, I don´t know if it's a YouTube app issue, I played videos from YouTube to chromecast or AppleTv and the app consumes a lot of battery like still playing videos directly on my iPhone 7 Plus :/ and then iPhone get warm :S

Oh word. Doesn’t happen when I have Bluetooth on. But does when it’s off. Hope y’all reported it.

Are you saying that there are people who don't leave BT "on" all the time? Interesting development. I ALWAYS have BT turned on... have had it that way for years... I'm always connecting to my car system, AirPods, external speakers, etc., using AirDrop, and more .. it's just so convenient, and I've not experienced any reason not to.

I appreciate the workaround advice. However, I don’t think it’s reasonable to do that when I never use Bluetooth whatsoever. I’m definitely not trying to make this a big thing haha. But it’s silly.

I used to think that if I had bluetooth on all of the time, it would drain my battery. That is not true, in my case, at least. I had read that modern bluetooth should not drain your battery much and that is definitely true, in my case, on my Iphone 6.
If I listen to Spotify, for example, my battery drains fast. But if I only listen to podcast with Outcast, it only drops a small percentage over a period of many hours. it is even better with the the bluetooh on, and the bluetooth device off. Others may have different results, though.

Does this release fix the ridiculous “I” keyboard bug?

Please clarify that?

There’s some bug that makes I show up as a box with a question mark in it if you type I. I saw a bunch of boxes with question marks on Twitter and was confused. Seems to be a common issue

I’ve noticed that a few apps are experiencing audio-related issues running 11.2 on the iPhone X.

With both Spotify and Snapchat, the apps will work fine until you leave the app to do anything that uses the iPhone’s audio output (watch a video, ask Siri a question, play music, etc). Once you’ve done something else that uses audio, neither Spotify or Snapchat will play sound until the app is killed or the phone restarts.

With Spotify, when you leave the app and listen to something else and then return to Spotify, you’ll see that the music appears to still be playing (the track time still counts up, the scrubber still progresses, etc), but you don’t get any sound.

With Snapchat, when you leave the app and listen to something else and then return to Snapchat, Snapchat audio will no longer work when the iPhone ringer switch is off. Normally, with the ringer switch off, you can use the iPhone volume up/down buttons to access Snapchat audio but this will no longer work.

Not sure if this is an iPhone X issue or an iOS 11.2 issue, but it’s fairly annoying.

In my experience, leaving BT turned on has had minimal impact on my battery life... iPhone 5, 5S, 6+, 6S+, 7+... obviously, YMMV.
