I had this problem one time on the 6S. I had to check About for any carrier update, I called my voicemail and enter voicemail passcode then hang up. I would use a different phone number to call my phone and leave a random message to see if I would get it. Most time this works. If it doesn't, last option probably to do a network reset.
Thanks, still didn't work and already reset network settings.
For those who don’t have visual voicemail, did you try entering your password for it? I did it and it appeared for me
Didn't have a password, but went ahead and made one and still couldn't get it to work.
I had this issue in the betas of 11.0. Had to reset voicemail password and pull the Sim card.
Tried that multiple times.
I was a bit over confident. The carrier update only worked for a couple of minutes. Not sure how to fix this now.
Do you have T-Mobile by chance? Does the Phone app become unresponsive for you?
I just clicked the CALL VOICE MAIK button... after the first time, VVM appears as normal.

Thanks everyone for your feedback on this issue. I wouldn't mind so much the broken Visual Voicemail, but it's the Phone app becoming unresponsive and crashing every single time I open it that is bugging me (so to speak). I've tried everything I can think of short of a wipe (which I'm doing now). Even spoke with T-Mobile to see if that was the problem.

If any other T-Mobile customers have an issue like this, lemme know as I'm curious is it's related to the latest T-Mobile 31.0 carrier update.

Can't see the public beta on my X (I'm running the previous public beta, 15C5097d). Has anyone with an X been able to see/download it? What's the new build number?

EDIT: for some reason the beta profile had been deleted from my phone. Once I reinstalled it, I could see the update.

Same here - iPhone SE. Glad you posted as I thought I must have deleted my profile accidentally.
I had to reinstall the profile too. Strange, never had that happen before.

On iPhone X, when you look at your notifications and they expand from being private to showing the notification content, it looks like the text expands slightly quicker than the background.

Maybe this will work for you, you can try go to Phone settings and tap "Change Voicemail Password".

Seems like this beta addressed the issue of Control Center not pulling up completely (i.e. toggles touching the bottom edge); can anybody else confirm?

Does anybody else feel like True Tone has been adjusted on the iPhone X? It just feels like it’s closer to the look of the iPhone 8... maybe it’s just me.

Thanks, but changing the password there didn’t do it either. Anyway, I erased all content and settings and restored from the iCloud backup I had before beta 3, and all is fixed now. Such a weird bug.

Sorry Radon but there simply isn't any Home Button delay on my iPhone 7 Plus or on my new iPhone 8. But hold your breath maybe I'll be lucky and get some of that Home Button delay on my now shipped iPhone X due to arrive on Friday. Cross your fingers!

I hadn't deleted mine, but I did have to install it again for this beta update.

Home Button delay is still there.
I don’t mean to start something and I’m not planning on reading through all the posts to see if it’s been mentioned, but isn’t a home button delay necessary? It would have to wait a brief moment after pressing the home button once to determine if you were going to double tap or not, right?

Siri is a bit broken for me in this beta. Freezes the animation at the bottom of the screen and then I have to re-initiate it for it to work.

Edit: only with Bluetooth devices.
