not sure if someone else posted this bug from B4 or not but I noticed that my music library is not syncing. If I upload an MP3 file or add a song from AM via my MacBook, my i7's library will not update......

So, I ditched FB and along with that, I also ditched Messenger because they both drain my battery. Did the battery recalibration thing and I also jumped back on the beta train. My phone is running much better this time (the lags I had recently are gone and no more resprings for the time being) because I reset everything and set the phone up as new prior. Now I’m just using safari way too much now that I got rid of FB. Need to cut down on that. :p This is today’s battery use. Not TOO bad but my phone was used pretty heavily today. iPhone 7 Plus.
Do you have a Windows PC or a Mac? Download Coconut Battery or iMazing and post a screenshot here.

PC, and I will do that. I’ve been curious what I’d told the health of my battery is anyway.
[doublepost=1511844421][/doublepost]Here it is from iMazing, let me know if you need to see more.
[doublepost=1511844580][/doublepost]Odd...just checked again and it went from 91% to 87% on the health score.

Do you use an iPad charger by any chance?

Also the wear rating is just to give you a range. It will not show much fluctuations if charged to 100%. Charge it to 100% and then try again if you can for an accurate rating.

I use a 3rd party cord plugged into my block that came with my phone, when I’m home. The cord that came with the phone is hooked into my mobile charger.

Okay, when it runs down again, I’ll charge it fully then check again.

Hi, can anyone tell me if you still can control multiple Apple TVs or speakers with AirPlay 2 in the Control Center (in iOS 11.2)?

You are saying the device is showing 7 hrs use and you haven't really used it? Something not making since. Its showing on screen usage for Safari and a few others so the phone had to be being used not laying around. Also I see YouTube background usage. That is known to cause battery issues and they released an update today to address it. Curious, why are you obsessed on making any other device be like the iPhone X? Just get an iPhone X and you will get iPhone X battery life :)

Sorry but I fail to see where there is a problem. You have 19+ hrs standby, 7+ hours of use and 54% remaining. What exactly are you expecting to get?
[doublepost=1511815045][/doublepost]
Here is you a formula to try out to see where you stand according to Apples spec. You have to get the amt of usage for each type to get more accurate. Here is a sample based on 19.5 hrs stdby and 2.5 hrs wifi use. Note Apples spec is UP TO and that is in lab perfect environment so don't expect to get the max for all areas. Also these are OR values. They are not saying you will get that use for each one so if ONLY standby then 384 hrs. Or if ONLY talk time used 21 hr, etc. They are not saying you are going to get 384 hr stdby AND 21 hrs talk AND 15 hrs wifi, etc.

iPhone 7 Plus Apple Specs
Talk time (wireless): Up to 21 hours on 3G
Standby: Up to 16 days (384 hrs)
Internet use: Up to 13 hours on 3G
Up to 13 hours on LTE
Up to 15 hours on Wi-Fi
Wireless video playback: Up to 14 hours
Wireless audio playback: Up to 60 hours

19.25/384=.05 (5%) stdby use , 2.5/15= .166 (16.6%) wifi use, so 100%-(5+16.6)= 78.4% should be remaining

I don’t know how that 7 hours is accumulating but I am not using the phone that much throughout the day. Every 3 hours if I just use my phone for 5-10 minutes then for 3 hours of standby I get around 36 minutes of usage.

On iOS 10 while using the phone as normal I get the same battery life as I get on iOS 11 without using the phone. Reason I compare with iPhone X is that it should get more battery life than the X which is showing almost double of what I get on the 7. I don’t know if that FaceScanner is causing inflated usage times on the X. I guess I will find out when I get the X.

Are you using a VPN?
Nope.
That's weird.

Must be something happening in the background on iOS 11. Charge to 100% force close all apps, screenshot the usage at 0 then leave it overnight wake up and screenshot again and see what you get.

I will do that tonight.

Not following this. So do you have an X or no? What is showing almost double? You need to compare what you get to Apples spec for that device not an entirely different device. However the specs seems to be about the same though between the 7+ and the X. Honestly I think you are stressing over a non-existent issue. You are getting great battery performance so it seems from your screen shot so not worth stressing over. Did you try the calculation formula I sent you? How does that turn out if you did?

iPhone 7 Plus
Talk time (wireless): Up to 21 hours on 3G
Standby: Up to 16 days (384 hrs)
Internet use: Up to 13 hours on 3G
Up to 13 hours on LTE

Wireless video playback: Up to 14 hours

iPhone X
(Lasts up to 2 hours longer than iPhone 7)
Talk time (wireless): Up to 21 hours
Internet use: Up to 12 hours
Video playback (wireless):Up to 13 hours
Audio playback (wireless):Up to 60 hours

Here are the issues I have experienced on my Iphone 6 with this latest beta:

Twice I have had Imessage freeze where I can't scroll up or down anymore until I close it in the task manager, then reopen Imessage. A reboot will also solve this.
Twice, I noticed when I sent a message to another Iphone user, that the message was green and was sent as a regular text message. Maybe this was a network issue at the time and not a bug in 11.2 beta 4?

I rarely ever use navigation but yesterday, on my way to work I tried to use siri with a bluetooth earpiece to give me directions and it would never find directions for me.

When I tried with siri again for directions to another location, it asked me to unlock my Iphone, which was impossible, since it was in my pocket.

Has it always been this way, asking to unlock the phone first, or am I remembering incorrectly?

Again, maybe Family Mobile (TMobile) network issues could be at play here, I'm not sure.

I have noticed reduced battery life on this beta, compared to previous beta, realizing that there could be other variable in play here to cause it. My wear level is also showing 80% pretty consistently, whereas in previous betas it was a pretty consistent 86%, with just a slight variability. I use BatteryLife to determine this.

Thanks for any input about the above issues

Does anyone know if 11.2 fixes the 'change with buttons' bug with 'Ringers and Alerts'?

I always have Ringers and Alerts volume 'Change with buttons' switched to OFF (iPhone X), but iOS 11 does indeed change my notification sound volume when the volume up and down buttons are pressed. This is most obvious with the lock screen sound.

I feel like this bug appears in every version of iOS, and Apple doesn't always address it. It's quite annoying.

The Change with buttons option needs to be switched to On in order to prevent other system sounds from changing with the buttons. The lock sound is not a notification sound.

Hmmm, just tried that and the lock sound gets louder and lower with the volume buttons whether I have this setting on or off. I guess I am confused as to what the logic behind this option is and how it's supposed to work?
