iOS 11.2 Beta 4 Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

With this update, I am seeing the green bar across the top. It looks like I have an active phone call, but I do not.

It appears whenever I change screens, or when I slide the lock screen left or right, toward the camera screen or the widget screen

Over last few betas I had an issue where when my phone would connect to Bluetooth (in an '17 Accord) it would start playing, but then within 10 or so seconds, it would pause itself and start playing again, all on it's own.

It seems like this is now fixed.

Had the visual voice mail thingy....airplane mode toggle fixeded it....

Yes … it didn’t fix it. It’s a minor annoyance … and, thankfully, it’s the only issue I’ve had with any of the 11.1 or 11.2 betas … considering myself lucky.

What are we doing to fix the issue where The visual vm goes missing? Is it coming back or no? My recent calls keep disappearing on and off too. I know it’s a beta I’m just wondering if anyone encountered it on an iPhone X or not and if you fixed it. Thanks.

Oh uh youtube makes clicking noise on top speake on 8+

YouTube also has a crackling sound on the iPhone X in beta 4. Wasn’t present in beta 3.

not sure when it was added, but i never noticed until just now that if you press firmly on the left of the screen with the 3D Touch gesture, if you press and then press deeper it automatically pops you into multitasking without having to swipe and possibly going back to your previous app.

It's less of a deeper press and more of a longer press. No matter how deep you press it still waits a second before popping into full switcher mode. But you're right, if you don't press deep enough it never does.

I had it with beta 3, but calling my VM one time and VVM came back. No issues since.

No it is not. Same bugged behavior. Annoying.

Now I've this issue appears after B4 update.

My iPhone 7+ Still with the "Shuffle Button Issue" on music app, button still broken, I can't disable it. Pretty Annoying.

My YouTube doesn’t like this beta, right after this update the audio pops and crackles every 2 seconds. It’s fine when using music app or watching videos I’ve recorded.

Strange. Never had this problem before. Still showing beta 3 build number in settings but nothing showing up even after a restart. Guess I'll try reinstalling the profile.

I had to reinstall the profile too. Weird.

Have you installed the update? Is your 7 Plus unlocking and going to home screen with a single click of home button?

IPhone 7, and yep, single press unlock and home screen. Maybe something got corrupted, please try restoring the image if you're up to it or try resetting all settings first. For me, even with this small an update, I'm noticing slightly better fluidity in app opening and closing and general UI navigation.

That was added back in beta 2 or 3 I believe. Its been MIA since iOS 11 was released.
Before that try a "reset all settings". That is what I had to do in B3 when nothing else worked. In B4 a simple airplane mode toggle sorted it out though.

Its still a strictly beta number, so at least one build more. Most likely 2-3.

I highly doubt this is going to have 2-3 betas more. iOS 11.1 only had 5, and 11.2 doesn't seem like the kind of release that would get more than that.

There is a delay over iOS 10. I proved it with my own iPhone 7 vs 8. There is a lag for sure. People that doubt it haven’t done a side by side comparison

I believe that has always been part of that particular feature. As far as I remember anyway.

Thought everything was perfect now no visual VM. It just says "call voicemail". Was working fine all day.

I had that with B3... call your VM... when I did, my VVM came back. Give it a shot... won't hurt to try it.
