Regarding the So called Weather widget problem, I am gonna give a perfect apologist troll reply.

I dont use it and you shouldn’t to. It’s working as intended.

:D:D:D
It sure isn’t a “so called” problem. It is a real problem. It’s Apple’s own app they can’t get working.

I remembered seeing the iPhone 8 and X at the retail store weather app info was provided by Yahoo and older devices using weather info provided by the weather channel. Not sure if it pays a role in the weather bug though.
Its actually the reverse. Yahoo used to provide weather, but Apple switched to the weather channel in IOS 10 I think.

And you can't seem to ignore him...

Because he himself even claimed he wouldn’t moan about the home button if he didn’t have to “deal” with the issue. He’s said he’s solved the issue by keeping his iPad on iOS 10 (avoiding the home button issue) and purchasing an iPhone X (also avoiding the issue.) But yet he still complains, even though he said he wouldn’t. The funny thing is, even if his iPad was on iOS 11 he could still avoid the issue, because on iOS 11 for iPad you barely have to use the home button. It has nearly identical swipe gestures to leave an app or get into the app switcher. He literally just complains for the sake of complaining.

Pointing it out because it further shows he can’t even stick to his own words, and anything he says carries zero weight.

I have never used the swipe gesture on iPad in years. Not in the habit of it. It seems unwieldy to me on a 13 inch screen

And about the home button, why so touchy about it? Just mentioning it isnt fixed shouldnt touch a nerve

The swipe gestures I mentioned are new to iOS 11. It’s practically the same swipe up as on the iPhone X. So of course you haven’t used them in years...they’re new.

Check out that ignore button. I haven't seen a battery or home button complaint from a certain someone in weeks and it's glorious. All of the responses to the ghost posts are nearly as bad.

There's a few posters with certain avatars that i put on ignore a few weeks ago and my happiness level increased dramatically. :)

Guys please test the phone app, please!

No issue. Ever.

The all-important question: any new wallpapers?

NOPE.

Why is it taking so long to fix the weather widget? You’d think Apple would want to fix one of their own apps/widgets.

WHY? it’s been working fine since iOS 10. It updates every time I swipe to it. It greets me with an updated location whenever I go somewhere new. It occasionally tells me bad news about the rain. But I tell it, it’s okay, don’t worry.

It’s bigger brother on the iPad Pro wants to say hello. Say hi..

I had that exact issue with another app. It was fixed by an app update. So I guess you should report it to Fifth Star Labs LLC so they can fix it.
They seem to have no way to contact them. I tried their website and they don't allow DM's via Twitter so I seem to be SOL.

UPDATE: seems support@fifthstarlabs.com works!

Just a small update but still better than no update.

Maybe we will see another Beta on Friday?!

I have iOS 11 on my Air 2 but I dont use that tablet much. That swipe up from dock is only to open app switcher. If you want to close the app which is where the delay is, you need to use all 5 fingers and zoom out which is the same as on iOS 10.

For the weather widget, because I travel a lot, I manually move the city I'm going to, to the top of the list, which is supposed to make that the default city for the widget. The widget doesn't update and is stuck on the previous city until I reboot. For me, this is most annoying.

No issue this time for me. I had the issue in both B3 and B4. All good this time around!

Looking like its the GM. Do you have a lot of apps using background refresh? That maybe your source of battery issues.
Why you say that? Nothing in this indicates anything about a GM.

Visual Voicemail gone for me again after update. Phone app seems responsive though. Will update with more info.
Edit: VVM is back after toggling Airplane Mode for 30 seconds.
Wow not this time for me! I figured they finally addressed it. Oh well....

seems to only be broken for a few people, i assume it's their settings.
Not settings. Going back to 10.3.3 and it works 100% with same settings. Its just flat broken in 11. Mine does update randomly but 9 times out of 10 its not matching the app or it doesn't update at all for maybe several hours or even a day then it will. Then it will update the hourly times but not the temps sometimes.

Hi, can anyone tell me if you still can control multiple Apple TVs or speakers with AirPlay 2 in the Control Center (in iOS 11.2)?
