Every app on my phone has location set to 'while using,' and every system service is turned to on. Every app on my phone has background app refresh turned on. I also have an Apple watch with the weather widget on the face. All three are synced always. And yes I drive between multiple cities during the day, everyday.
So I have Weather set to Always and Background App Refresh set to Enabled for Weather. I do have several system services disabled but I've had them enabled for several hours in the past to see if it would fix this but it has not.

Still having visual voicemail bug. As long as i delete and clear the voicemails out of the phone app everything seems to work fine. If I don't delete the voicemail it causes the phone app to be slow and visual voicemails disappear. Only way to get everything working properly is to switch to airplane mode for 30 seconds and delete all visual voicemails.
I’m thinking that the Visual Voicemail/laggy Phone app issue is caused by the voicemail transcription feature. I’ve noticed that I do not get a voicemail notification until the transcription has completed, sometimes 15 minutes later. Your experience adds further credence to my theory.

For the weather widget, because I travel a lot, I manually move the city I'm going to, to the top of the list, which is supposed to make that the default city for the widget. The widget doesn't update and is stuck on the previous city until I reboot. For me, this is most annoying.

Haven't noticed any issue with the Weather widget, but if you are why don't you just get a 3rd party weather app? Obviously Apple doesn't think this is a problem or else they would have fixed it. I use Weather Underground and they have a nice widget that works well. I know Dark Sky has one that works well. The App Store is filled with options.

I think the reason everyone is getting pissed at incessant posts about the Weather widget is because a) most people aren't having a problem, and b) there is nothing any of us can do about it. We post here to figure out if our issues are real and shared by others, not because we think anyone at Apple is reading our complaints. Obviously most of us do not share this issue, so the only explanation for the incessant posts is that people are trolling (not saying you in particular; yours just happens to be the comment I replied to).

All of the above applies to "issues" with the Home button as well.

Following up on this, if people are having this issues, feel free to post their feedback submission # and feel free to reference that # in their follow up feedback posts. Can only help.

So far so good on performance aspect of things

Only issue I have is in the control Center when I use 3D Touch to open more of the menu up, if I press down for 3D Touch on wifi, it will disable the wifi as well as bring up the menu.
[doublepost=1511901254][/doublepost]Another positive improvement on this beta seems to be the mail app updates far quicker now. I don’t use push, it’s set to manual update when I open the app and it used to take about 5-10 seconds to finally start checking for mail. It now does it instantly upon opening the app. A nice change

I have that control center thing too. Airplane mode and wifi, but not Bluetooth or cellular data.

Kindle app crashing when selecting a book from my library seems to have been fixed on my iPad Pro. However it was not fixed on my 8 plus. I had to delete the app, reinstall it. It froze on me with first launch. Had to force quit it and restart my phone. Seems to be ok after downloading a couple of books. Man .2 has been a rough mother!

I have never used the swipe gesture on iPad in years. Not in the habit of it. It seems unwieldy to me on a 13 inch screen

And about the home button, why so touchy about it? Just mentioning it isnt fixed shouldnt touch a nerve
You seems to forget that insane 60 pages thread just about this home button shenanigan. And I believe, people who are complaining about your home button rant are those who have somehow participated that insane “running in circles”.

I miss the downvote button
I don’t know why it is not there either. :(

Well, I'm not trolling, I was just sharing my experience with others that have the same issue. What are supposed to do? Create a separate thread about it for the ones having the issues? Then we get accused of flooding the forum with similar threads. I have sent the issue to Apple many times, so it's not that I have not been sending feedback. I'm happy you don't have the issue, but that doesn't mean others don't. One thing I noticed here is that if you don't have the issue, you are lying. We should be more helpful with each other here and don't get me wrong I understand your point too. ;)

I bit the bullet and upgraded from 11.1.2 on iPhone X. Is the clicking sound when swiping up from the control center a bug or new feature?

46MB, iPhone 8 Plus, noticed after updating my battery life went to **** though but it might needed to optimize first.
Also noticed Beta 5 is even smoother then Beta 4, so far I am loving it!

Seems to run very smooth and snappy on my 8 Plus
Hows your battery life? Cause when I updated my 8 Plus battery life plumped into hell and got really bad, now fully charging and see how it will do but I wonder if I am the only one with the problem or some people are also having this issue :)

I actually quite like the stock weather app as I can easily see all the cities I frequent most often. I'm not really complaining about it, just writing down my observation of the issue instead of saying the widget is 1 degree off of what the app shows. I could care less if it's a few degrees off or not updating all the time. I look at the app once in the morning and maybe at night, that's about it.

11.2 has been a train wreck since beta 1. Following 11.2 betas have reintroduced bugs that had been squashed in previous builds:

The Music widget on the lock screen doesn’t show the Bluetooth or airplay device you’re connected to. It always shows “iPhone” or “iPad” regardless of what speaker or headset you’re connected to. Device shows correctly in Control Center but not on the locksceen.

The icon on the top right of the lock screen music widget stays grayed out after you tap on it to change your music source.

Certain Bluetooth devices like Ford SYNC cause the lock screen music widget to stick and the only way to remove it is to reboot the phone.

Handoff is still not working. Has never worked correctly on iOS 11 but now doesn’t work at all.

The voicemail bug is still present but at least toggling AirPlane mode on and then back off fixes that.

This cannot be the final version!

I just updated and the cover sheet seems to be consistently in a blurred mode (see the attached images). I've never experienced this issue until this update. I can see the notifications, but the time is blurred in the background. I'm not using 3D Touch in the images.

Regarding VVM issue, placing in Airplane mode alone did not work for me after 30 seconds. I turned off both Wifi and Airplane Mode and VVM came back up for me.
