It's not fixed. I don't think they know how to fix it.
Edit: It updates faster, so there is progress.

Glad it wasn’t just me that wouldn’t allow that to screenshot.
I don't think all features are enabled when in the Setup Assistant. As such that's probably why it didn't allow you to screenshot the screen.
One improvement that has bothered me from the beginning was my iPad Pro 10.5, when trying to access control center, it would delay and just be slow to activate, it is finally instant when trying to activate it with 11.3. For everyday use, this is very welcoming.

I noticed that if you have multiple devices together, the lock screen time and date aligned with each other and the gap between the status bar and time on older device looks like reserved for the lock/unlock icon for the X lol
It’s not live yet. Won’t be available until a beta released in February or so.
I don't have an iPhone on a previous version to compare with (only an iPad and that's not Apples-to-Apples), but it does indeed seem like it's lifted
Yeah, I'll take this with a large pinch of salt since everyone always says this every single point update. Use it for a couple days then get back to us. /placeboeffect
Seems faster to me too. iOS x.3 releases always appear to be the most performant, at least in my experience.
Ok so far messages on iCloud doesn’t do much for me even though it’s all synced.
My understanding is that delete a conversation on one device it deletes it on them all? However a couple of tests I’ve done that hasn’t worked. (Tried on my iPhone X, iPad Pro 10.5 and MacBook Pro).
So not sure entirely what’s new about it yet.
Also I had 2FA on and iCloud Backup yet I had to manually turn it on, which is contrary to the release notes.

I don't have an X to test with, so I can't tell you if its more smooth, less smooth, or the same. Sorry.as I'm so happy with 11.2.5 I'm worried about getting this, but I wannahows the speed on the X still smooth

What do you mean by activity indicator?
New Messages settings in iCloud are buggy, which is to be expected. Settings crashed on me when I enabled the switch but retained the setting. The first time I opened Messages I got this:
Had to kill Messages as it was completely unresponsive. The correct splash screen was displayed the second time I opened it.

Oh jeez, bold text. I really don't like that lol. I also don't like the darkened colors either personally.
