Installing the beta automatically update the modem and carrier version. You can manually trigger a carrier update by going into Settings>General>About and you'll be prompted if there is a new carrier update.

Okk.. thanks:) im on 11.2.5 so maybe ill try out the beta soon to compare if reception will be better, otherwise -> apple store.
When going to setting and about i dont get any carrier update .. its on 31.0

And modem is on 1.03.06
Im on A1901 phone model

Part of the issue re home button delay relates to accessibility settings. If you go to settings > general > accessibility > home button, there’s a way to select the click speed. They have default, slow, and slowest. But the default is slower than 10.3, there should be a faster option.

The sticky post is copied from the previous beta and the carrier info may not have been updated. If you have privileges to edit the wiki post, you can change this.

Thanks. I updated it. I just wanted to make sure someone else didn't have a different carrier version than I.

Is anyone getting notifications for mails received by scheduled fetch (15 minutes etc) in favorited folders for free Yahoo mail (not icloud) accounts.

Ughhhh THANK YOU! I don’t even use GC that often (just stay logged in) but I swear if I get ONE MORE RANDOM NOTIFICATION FROM SOMEONE I CAN’T DELETE/BLOCK!

(Lol yes I needed all caps)

Yeah same here, hated the notifications so much I turned it off. For some reason the previous “delete all friends” option didn’t do anything because I still had all my friends.

One improvement that has bothered me from the beginning was my iPad Pro 10.5, when trying to access control center, it would delay and just be slow to activate, it is finally instant when trying to activate it with 11.3. For everyday use, this is very welcoming.
Thanks for the update. Overall, thus far, how are you liking it on iPad Pro 10.5?

New feature in News in which Top Stories cycle through and show each Top Story one after another.

I deleted my message history across all my devices and it deleted conversations on some
And not at all on others. But once I had a zero inbox on everything the Cloud syncing has been accurate and blisteringly fast.

7+, 10.5” Pro and 13” 2015 MacBook Pro on High Sierra if that matters.

Also, will developers need to implement ARKit 1.5 or should we already see some of these improvements, like the resolution bump at least?

Overall, liking it a lot, always had stutters and frame rate drops up until 11.2.5 but with 11.3, so far, running really crisp with no stutters or anything, only issue I’m having right now is the Apple TV app doesn’t work, but, I’m not too worried since it’ll be fixed in a future update

BUG: Books sorted in manual order is shuffled randomly, and you can’t rearrange it back.

iPad mini 4 control center is finally smooth, fluid and fast. It's pretty much been a little stuttery and jerky throughout iOS 11 but so far but this beta seems to make it smooth now. Also in general the iPad seems more fluid and speedy now all the way around. Nice!

I wouldn’t want to be deleting all my messages. Hopefully they can fix it in coming betas to included old messages once synced.

Im similar to you with iPhone X, 10.5” Pro and 2015 MacBook Pro on MacOS HS 10.13.4.

Thanks! I might give it a go on my 10.5. Appreciate your feedback.

There is no toggle in beta 1. It clearly said in the press release that this would come in a later beta so it will be beta 2 or 3 at a guess.

Sorry, you didn't see my other response. I was referring to 11.3 final.

I don't have an X to test with, so I can't tell you if its more smooth, less smooth, or the same. Sorry.

What do you mean by activity indicator?
On all iPhones prior iPhone X there’s a spinning circle when something is loading. On iPhone X that’s been removed, but during the reveal of the iPhone X, a loading indicator could be seen at sometimes in the right ear. But now almost half a year since it was showed it still hasn’t made it to the software..
