I've tried a few times to upgrade from beta 1 to beta 2. But, all that happens is that my iPhone gets stuck on the boot screen with the apple logo and the bar. It's gotten about 99.9% across, but, it never finishes updating -- even after 4 hours.

Has anyone else experienced this? Where the updates just don't install? or, that bar sits at the very end for *hours* without finishing? Very frustrating...

Rolled back to Beta 1, and it's working, but, beta 2 just won't install...

I had this issue upgrading from 11.2.5 to beta 1 too -- so, starting to wonder if it's my iPhone that's the problem?

Same problem here, i can't install beta 1 either.

So messages are slow and freeze up! I had to turn off imessages twice and back om before messages stopped freezing up the phone!!

There is a work around for those who don't like the caution prompt when deleting message. I believe it only appears if you use iCloud in general and doesn't necessary have Message sync to iCloud since I still get them without enabling iCloud Messages.

The workaround is in the Message app, hit "Edit", select one or more messages, and hit "Delete"

Is anyone having an issue with the iOS 11.3 beta 2, where music playback pauses while launching a different app that might, but doesn't necessarily play sound?
It happens every time I launch Instagram - the video sounds are muted by default and shouldn't pause music playback but still do anyway.
The same happens when searching in Safari. If there's a Google Translate definition available for a word with a pronunciation playback option music playback pauses even though I don't choose to play back the definition.
I've already sent feedback to Apple and it's not on the list of known issues.

Yep - happens to me with Instagram all the time.

I normally never have any big issues with betas, but I really hate this one.

If that is way of you “proving” those apps work, then I have a bridge to sell you. The developers of these apps have even posted on MacRumors once iOS 10 came out that they no longer work. Apple disabled battery hardware reading in iOS 10. And they removed charging rate in iOS 11.

The only way to check battery health is via coconut battery. Only way.
I believe iMazing works as well. I haven't checked since this beta but last time I used it it was what beta was reporting if I recall. I will test again but not today as I am checking battery usage after a total run down yesterday and don't want to plug in :)

Still bugged. Books can’t remain in memory more than 15 minutes. Constant crashes. PDFs disappearing.

I don’t know how Apple thinks this crap can compete with Kindle.

Ok, thanks for letting me know. Hope this gets fixed soon...

No it does not. Auto fill and keychain are working. I believe the note in question has to do with Apple’s new feature they are working on in which you can use your Apple ID to sign in to websites. Kinda like a single sign on type deal.
Ah ok, thank you.

Just info, I let iP6s run until it shutdown last night (1%) then off and the battery performance management did not turn on. So that was not an "unexpected shutdown" apparently. I was wondering how that may work and it seems all is well with a normal battery depletion.

Does anybody else have this bug? When I 3D touch on some icons I don t get haptic feedback back right away...I get it after 1 minute or so which is annoying

1 minute delay? No, certainly don't have that. Sometimes I"ll get a split second delay, like I've had throughout iOS 11.

On my 16 month old 7 Plus, iMazing says 97.5%, and the 11.3 beta says 97%.

BTW, iMazing works over Wi-Fi - no need to plug-in.

Little heads up for people who use Apple Watch and listen to music with the player showing while on the latest beta OS installed and you are using iphone with Beta 2. If you try and reboot the watch and it is hung up on White Apple Logo it may stall out and look like its bootlooping. What is happening here is the watch is syncing with iphone and looking for VoiceOver. Even if you have VoiceOver turned off on the watch. I'd say give it 2 minutes or so with the White Apple Logo on the screen, then go into the iPhone Apple Watch Application, general, accessibility VoiceOver toggle the switch on and then off or vice versa depending on your situation. Then hard reboot the watch and it should boot as normal. I've already issued my report for this.

Is it just me or does this seem a little off? It doesn't seem like it's lined up correctly. This doesn't really matter but I was just wondering if this is lined up correctly or not.

Really annoying to see this, but beta 2 still won't let me on a secure Wi-Fi network or validate my AppleID.

I'm using a 5s.

Was on beta 1 for two weeks and I don't get why showstoppers like this aren't fixed.

Battery health is 99% on my 8 Plus

Seems reasonable, got it the same week it launched and a pretty heavy user, drain the battery everyday

So after sorting out I can assure that on my iPhone X I had problems with the haptick feedback...
[doublepost=1518035637][/doublepost]I downgraded to iOS 11.2.5 to see if it s software related and I think it is

Yep, same on mine as well, and if you have an Apple Watch and try to check for update, it's the same there too...

SiriusXM background audio keeps stopping when using Spark Mail & switching to other apps.
Never happened prior to Beta 2.
