Seems like the three 6S or 6S+ from 2.5 years ago are all 83% or mine is 84% so thats consistent battery wear.
Then the system storage varies massively across all phones. My 6S+ shows 3.5Gb of system storage, however I would expect it to be far less than the X due to extra features, etc, etc, etc.
Battery life is still worse for me on 11.3 Betas than previous 11.2.5 versions.

Have you tried Clear History and Website Data then use private mode to see it still show up? or check Website Data to confirm a website you haven't visited then visit that website using private mode. It wouldn't show up
Yeah I already did that, and it clears the list.
But when I use private mode, sites appear on that list again.
So far it seems like private browsing mode doesn't work and that I'll have to clear history after every use.
It's been happening since 11.0, and a fresh install of 11.2 didn't fix it.
Reported to Apple.

Is anyone having an issue with the iOS 11.3 beta 2, where music playback pauses while launching a different app that might, but doesn't necessarily play sound?
It happens every time I launch Instagram - the video sounds are muted by default and shouldn't pause music playback but still do anyway.
The same happens when searching in Safari. If there's a Google Translate definition available for a word with a pronunciation playback option music playback pauses even though I don't choose to play back the definition.
I've already sent feedback to Apple and it's not on the list of known issues.

Yes, Facebook does this as well and it's extremely annoying. I have autoplay disabled yet every time I scroll past a video in the newsfeed my music stops.

A couple things.

First about the system storage. EverythingApplePro found that 11.3b1 took way more space than normal, but b2 took less space and freed up space on his phone compared to b1.

Many of you are reporting that b2 system storage space seems much larger than expected.

I'm still on 11.2.5 and to get a sense of how much free space I might lose by upgrading, I checked my system storage space. Mine is 21.6gb!! I checked two minutes later and it was down to 14.5gb. Five minutes later it's down to 13.6gb. Waited another 5 minutes and it's still at 13.6gb.

In between checking, I've done nothing (other than take screen shots), run no apps, didn't install or delete anything, didn't make any changes. Is it normal for the storage space taken up by the system to vary so much? What might be causing it to vary?

Second: I'm a public beta guy and I read the developer beta tester comments carefully before deciding whether to install the PB. In the first 24 hours since 11.3b2 was released, there seem to be more comments about problems and fewer comments reporting smooth performance than in the first 24 hours after most previous betas, including 11.3b1.

I know this is an unscientific way of getting a sense of the likelihood I'd have a good experience if I installed the beta, but it's the best way I can think of.

And based on the comments about 11.3b2 in the first 24 hours, it seems like the smart thing for me to do is to wait at least until b3.

I can't fault you in your methods but I believe it has to be mentioned that a majority of the time the reason people come here to post is because something's wrong. I think they only foolproof method is installing and using it yourself. The beautiful thing about betas is that you're able to go back if it's not working well for you. Just be sure to have an archived backup if you're going to try it.

For me, it's been just as solid as beta 1 but I'm not a heavy user. Most of my usage comes from Messages (which has been fine), Pandora streaming to car, taking photos and light Safari browsing.

Does anybody here use 1Password? Is FaceID authentication working for you?

Has anyone ever disabled the iCloud messages and went back to old way? How long did it take to download all messages to phone from iCloud?

Dumb question, but does this mean that autofill and/or Keychain doesn't work in the beta?
No it does not. Auto fill and keychain are working. I believe the note in question has to do with Apple’s new feature they are working on in which you can use your Apple ID to sign in to websites. Kinda like a single sign on type deal.

Woke up today and the Apple battery section showed 100% as well
If that is way of you “proving” those apps work, then I have a bridge to sell you. The developers of these apps have even posted on MacRumors once iOS 10 came out that they no longer work. Apple disabled battery hardware reading in iOS 10. And they removed charging rate in iOS 11.

The only way to check battery health is via coconut battery. Only way.

Using the iPhone X, very impressed with this beta. I haven’t used my phone very much, but off the charger for 5 hrs and only burned 10% of the battery. Feels snappy, hope it only gets better.

From the looks of it, it seems like no one cares that this beta kills off iTunes 12.6.3 and thereby app management on the desktop for good, at least on the latest iPhones?
