Yes and I have iCloud off for messages.

So, just to be sure I understand you correctly, you logged out of iCloud on your iPhone and when you signed back in...you can swipe to delete Message conversations without receiving any sort of alert or prompt?

Does everyone Messages in the cloud show up as other? I thought it would show messages...

Seems like it would make sense to have the status (either way) in the first post. That way no one has to remember that it is not a public beta until it is described as a public beta. Especially when we have (so far) seven pages discussing a beta that is not yet available to us peons.

Seems logical to me, but then I majored in communications... ;)

Paul
I guess. Seems most here that are beta testing would know which channels its available to. I dunno. But the beauty is the PB folks can read here (7+ pages) for a few hours or a day or so to get a sense if there are major issues before they update! The two are the same so the discussion pertaining to them should be the same as well.

Does having a spotty Wi-Fi/data connection completey slow down their iPhone or is it just me?

How dependent is iOS on an external data source to complete basic tasks?

Double checked. I get the standard verification message. Not what has been posted earlier.

Your iDevice is not dependent on internet to complete any basic tasks. If you turn airplane mode on then you will notice it works exactly as it should. Now if you have slow internet and are trying to use apps that need the internet then that is a different deal.

Mine shows Messages as a category. (6s on 11.3 Beta 2)

Thanks for the reply. I wonder why mine is showing other for messages. If I remove messages the other category disappears. When I add them back the other category comes back. Messages in the cloud seem to be working though...very strange.

From the home app, single tapping an Apple TV plays\pauses music depending on what you were last doing. Example, the last thing I did in the den was listen to music. Single tapping that Apple TV woke it up, turned on the TV, and started playing music from my library. My daughter was last watching Netflix in the bedroom. Single tapping that one did nothing until I rebooted it. Once rebooted both Apple TVs now act the same way. It’s buggy at best but in beta 1 I’m fairly certain that single tapping did nothing.

Question for Messages in iCloud : I have 2 iPads on 11.3 beta and both works flawlessly with messages in iCloud. Today, I decided to update my iPhone, but before updating I just delete all my messages to be sure all messages in iCloud will download properly (I didn't have many messages on my phone)

So when I signed to show messages in iCloud, I just see some conversations, about 5% of all my messages in iCloud history, with no pictures of files inside the conversations. Messages in iCloud takes 10GB of spaces on my iCloud account so I know all my messages was backed up so my question is, how can I force my phone to sync with all my messages in iCloud?

Recently updated to beta 2, here’ my two+ years old iPhone 6s battery health, although battery life was acceptable on iOS 11.2.5, No complaints;-)

Mine isn’t. It keeps saying make sure you are on the same wifi network. Which I am. And it doesn’t find my Apple TV.

Last time this happened to me it was because my iPhone was on my 2.4ghz WiFi while my TV was on 5ghz. Maybe check to see what they’re both connected to?

My iPhone ATV remote is also working now after I updated to b2. My ATV is on the beta as well.

My TVs are not on beta. good to know that it doesn’t seem to be a beta problem.

Anyone else’s notifications messed up in this beta? It’s kinda like DND enabled all the time. I see notifications but the iPhone doesn’t vibrate and the sounds don’t work on the Watch either.
