Your iDevice is not dependent on internet to complete any basic tasks. If you turn airplane mode on then you will notice it works exactly as it should. Now if you have slow internet and are trying to use apps that need the internet then that is a different deal.
Great suggestion.

From the home app, single tapping an Apple TV plays\pauses music depending on what you were last doing. Example, the last thing I did in the den was listen to music. Single tapping that Apple TV woke it up, turned on the TV, and started playing music from my library. My daughter was last watching Netflix in the bedroom. Single tapping that one did nothing until I rebooted it. Once rebooted both Apple TVs now act the same way. It’s buggy at best but in beta 1 I’m fairly certain that single tapping did nothing.

Beta 2 for tvOS fixed the Bluetooth pairing issue

I am getting some odd haptic behavior on my x. Some items that normally have haptic response no longer do and the. Every once in a while I’ll get a long odd haptic response for no reason

Last time this happened to me it was because my iPhone was on my 2.4ghz WiFi while my TV was on 5ghz. Maybe check to see what they’re both connected to?

My TVs are not on beta. good to know that it doesn’t seem to be a beta problem.
They are all on the same WiFi network. It may be the Apple TV beta. Now it just seem to find my living room Apple TV. But not my bedroom Apple TV.

I was curious and downgraded the iPad I have, and iPhone to 11.2.5. My Apple tvs are running 11.3 and my Apple TV remote app cannot find the Apple TV.

Got the x so don't have it
So that’s a no then? lol

Ive read somewhere that battery control features will be disabled in case a non original battery is detected.

can someone confirm?

Is there a specific way to detect a non oem battery??
Ive read that it wont be possible to access these options if Apple detects an oem battery or a misplaced one. Was wondering if someone with an oem battery tried the update and can tell us if by default with this kind of battery the throttling is enabled or not.
As far as I understand this setting will tell you if your battery is original without the need to open the device. Problem could be what Apple decide to enable or disable when that happens.

I've tried a few times to upgrade from beta 1 to beta 2. But, all that happens is that my iPhone gets stuck on the boot screen with the apple logo and the bar. It's gotten about 99.9% across, but, it never finishes updating -- even after 4 hours.

Has anyone else experienced this? Where the updates just don't install? or, that bar sits at the very end for *hours* without finishing? Very frustrating...

Rolled back to Beta 1, and it's working, but, beta 2 just won't install...

I had this issue upgrading from 11.2.5 to beta 1 too -- so, starting to wonder if it's my iPhone that's the problem?

I’m not sure about that? This article may help:-

[doublepost=1517983169][/doublepost]Sorry. Just now I see that the order is not good, even though I selected them normally
Thanks.
I think they have still not enabled the scheduled fetch and notifications for mails received in favorite folders (other than Inbox) for non-push mail accounts on native mail app.
This feature was already there in iOS 10.3.3 but was deactivated in iOS 11.x.

Is anyone having an issue with the iOS 11.3 beta 2, where music playback pauses while launching a different app that might, but doesn't necessarily play sound?
It happens every time I launch Instagram - the video sounds are muted by default and shouldn't pause music playback but still do anyway.
The same happens when searching in Safari. If there's a Google Translate definition available for a word with a pronunciation playback option music playback pauses even though I don't choose to play back the definition.
I've already sent feedback to Apple and it's not on the list of known issues.

Seems to be quite big in the system space on my iPhone X

Is anyone else having issues receiving messages? Had 2 iMessages sent to me and they come through fine on my Mac mini but not my iPhone X running this beta

EDIT: I occasionally seem to be getting this weird blacked out screen for a few seconds too, added a screenshot

EDIT #2: Signing out and back in to iCloud did fix the problem and I am now able to send and receive messages.

Any improvements to the Books app? On beta 1, Books is all kinds of messed up on my iPhone 8. I manually sort my library and I couldn’t even move books within collections - whenever I try dragging a book to a new spot, it just snaps back to the spot I’m moving it from as soon as I let go...
Still bugged. Books can’t remain in memory more than 15 minutes. Constant crashes. PDFs disappearing.

I don’t know how Apple thinks this crap can compete with Kindle.

Mine is 5.39 GB (iPhone 6s plus running latest beta)

I'm currently doing a backup. When i checked it said some files weren't available at the last backup and it failed to backup last night when plugged in. So forcing one now and its taking a while. Hopefully that clears it out. It had reduced to 11.33 before I started the backup. So no idea what it's doing.
