Funny thing is that all other weather widgets work perfectly except Apple‘s stock weather widget.

Not quite. However, they do work more consistently than Apple's.

  1. Be Weather 2 (my go-to now) has been flaky at times however I chalked that up to them, not iOS.
  2. Dark Sky has been off for a while now. It was go-to fivever, but since the Watch complication stopped syncing (Be has this issue too, but not as often) I've stopped using it.

I have an iPhone X A1865 in Canada with Rogers and my carrier version is 31.5.1, not 31.5 as per this wiki

Really annoying to see this, but beta 2 still won't let me on a secure Wi-Fi network or validate my AppleID.

I'm using a 5s.

Was on beta 1 for two weeks and I don't get why showstoppers like this aren't fixed.

It would seem to be in the more squirrelly category of bugs, which only crop up sometimes. I had that issue with b1, on an iPhone 5s as well, but it's happy with b2. If you don't mind spending time with it, it might be worth trying reinstalling once or twice - for now, that problem looks like it's fairly random.

Indeed, we are discussing good AND the bad here in this thread, but it’s better being constructive than being aggressive. I also saw quite a few things broken in the betas, then I file some bug reports, and that’s it.

Um, I’m not sure what makes you think I’m being aggressive?? Far from it, sarcastic yes, but if that’s how you’re interpreting my posts then my apologies as that’s not how it’s meant. :)

Does Messages via iCloud work for you guys? It doesn’t for me =(. Before installing b2 my backup was 12,1 GB where the messages stood for 8,5-9 GB. Now it looks like this – see below attachments. My backup is now 23,5 GB where the messages represents 14,2 GB. When I click on the messages it says that the conversations are Zero KB???

Don’t worry, haha! I was just trying to say that sometimes the comments about beta software quality could be a little intense here... my apologies too! Hopefully when beta 3 arrives, things are gonna work better! ;)

Getting slightly less battery life on my 8+ since the last beta. A little over 1hour usage per 10%. Was getting about 1h20 mins per 10% before.

It's zero kb cause your messages are on iCloud. I have the same thing.

Attachements still dont sync with iMessages? i like i delete an image on one device it still remains on the others. Only seems to sync texts

Yep - happens to me with Instagram all the time.

I normally never have any big issues with betas, but I really hate this one.

My iPhone has been stuck on the wallpaper with nothing else too many times by now. Haven't had as bad an experience with betas for a long time.

Sorry but I don't agree. It would make sense if my iCloud backup shrunk to 3-4 GB but something is eating up space on my iCloud. The original backup was 12.1 where 8-9 GB of them consisted of my messages. Now 23,5 GB is taking up space.

It's really cool how the music popping and skipping issue is back in beta after being gone since 11.1.

Please update the wiki then.

I was more saying that because I have the A1865 while Canadians get the A1901. I am wondering if my carrier version is different because I got the Qualcomm iPhone instead of the Canadian Intel iPhone.

That is funny because the stock weather widget has been working fine on three devices. Weather refreshes quickly 90% of the time. The other 10% it refreshes with a slight delay of around 5-10 seconds. Much better compared now if you ask me.

So best advice is to avoid this beta if I’m on 11.2.5?

No offense, but statements like this really bug me. You can read a lot of posts here indicating few or no issues, yet you home in on a few complaints. I’m not saying that’s wrong for you (depending on your tolerance level for issues), but please don’t generalize from one or a few posts that this beta poses major problems for most users. That’s like going to a forum about tires, and a sub thread about flat tires and concluding that all tires must be bad. The analogy is not perfect, but I think you can get my point: most people having no issues are not posting about it.

I'm having the same problem. But it seems like my messages size is not accurate. My laptop has 14GB of iMessages, and my Messages show they take up 19GB. I turned on messages sync on my iPad, and suddenly it ballooned to 21GB.

I've tried to delete them in the cloud and re-sync but it keeps restoring the same size. I feel like I'm stuck. All the while, my backup sizes don't get smaller either.

Looks like the same issue. File a bug report, I did!

In the spotlight search box on the widget page of the cover sheet, moving the cursor using 3d touch (iPhone) or two fingers (iPad) on the keyboard doesn't seem to be working.

Edit: Only happening in landscape mode. It seems that iOS confuses the moving directions, i.e. to move the cursor horizontally you have to slide vertically.
