iMessages totally screwed up. Can’t log into Apple account via settings/messages. Messages app totally blank and unresponsive.
I had this issue. Had to retore new on both devices. I couldn’t use any backup. Did you ever resolve?

Is it just me or is 11.3 one of the worst performing betas yet. This slows down so much between menus, settings and safari . I am not just talking of beta 2 but 1 as well

I haven't noticed the slowdown. (it could be there or not, I just haven't noticed) However, battery life, imo, is slightly less then beta 1. This is on a 6s.

Did you update your mac again since Apple updated beta 2 today?

I went straight to public beta 2 never has the original beta 2
Also my messages on my phone are lagging like crazy. I’m on Latest iOS beta I reset the phone but nada, something is wrong with their server and authentication cause sometimes when I go into messages on my phone and it asks to log into my account again? And sometimes it’s logged in? It’s def whacked out of its mind

Apple updated beta 2 to build 17E150g today for dev and public.
Yeh I got the G version latest and Brocken yet it worked in Beta 1 of Mac OS, soon as I upgraded to beta 2 I noticed it said iMessages inactive on my Mac, so I logged out of iMessages on my Mac and iPhone and peace after that can’t get **** to work

I've tried a few times to upgrade from beta 1 to beta 2. But, all that happens is that my iPhone gets stuck on the boot screen with the apple logo and the bar. It's gotten about 99.9% across, but, it never finishes updating -- even after 4 hours.

Has anyone else experienced this? Where the updates just don't install? or, that bar sits at the very end for *hours* without finishing? Very frustrating...

Rolled back to Beta 1, and it's working, but, beta 2 just won't install...

I had this issue upgrading from 11.2.5 to beta 1 too -- so, starting to wonder if it's my iPhone that's the problem?
I reported this to Apple, and got a response within 12 hours from Apple. Generally pretty amazed by the speed of the response, but, definitely a real show stopper bug if it's something that's happening to more than just me (and, at least one person said it happened to them too)....

I have a serious problem with iMessages, I cannot lot into iMessages account using beta 2? And I cannot log into iMessages on my iMac either using 10.13.4 beta 2 OS? I reset my phone and I’m restoring over night from the cloud to see if it does anything? My messages app is really slow and lagging 2to3 min before it opens up?

Everything worked till I upgraded my IMac to beta 2 10.13.4 today and I notice my iMessages app on my iMac said inactive, soon as I logged out of my account on the iMac that’s when ish hit the fan, 6 hours later I still cannot get it to work. I’m going to bed now and I will let my iPhone chill out with data restoring now to see wtd will happen?

Any input I would releally appreciate it..

I am pretty happy with this Beta thus far...Batt life is good

Battery Maximum Capacity level is definitely not 100% accurate all the time. Has been saying 87% since this beta came out, dropped to 86% after an unexpected shutdown with 5% battery remaining. And now about a day later has returned to 87% with the battery shutting down at normally at 1% this time. (Power Management was disabled)

Is anybody having issue with getting “personal requests” to work on HomePod? I’m thinking it’s an issue with iOS 9.3

Despite having personal requests on and set to “never” for when to require authentication I am still unable to send messages or access my reminders and notes using HomePod.

Can anyone with an iPad Pro 10.5 go into

Settings—>General—>iPad Storage

Scroll to the bottom and take a screenshot if you can see the ‘system usage’ like you can on an iPhone please?

I haven't noticed too many showstopper issues on my X. I was worried after reading the early reports of iMessage issues but mine seems to be working *knock on wood*. I did have the haptic feedback problem but restarting seems to have brought the haptic feedback back. The only big problem so far was last night I put it on my wireless charger and it stayed at 10% all night even though it had the charging logo in the top right corner. Again, restarting fixed the problem but this is the first time I've come across issues charging my phone on a beta. All issues have been reported to Apple already :)

Am I the only one who have the active battery time usage way higher than the real time I actually use my phone? I didn’t used my phone at all for 7 hours and the battery time usage said I use it for 1h41 minutes.

Does having a watch paired could be the reason?

Apple updated beta 2 to build 17E150g today for dev and public.

I'm on 15E5178f on my X and there isn't a new version available. Am I going to have to download the .ipsw and push it from iTunes on my Mac, or could I remove the beta profile and reinstall it?

Should I even do that?

The music app is super buggy. Music stops when you launch many apps. It also pauses randomly.
That's not the music app that's buggy. Same thing happens with Pandora.

I had this happen the other day but I just assumed that notifications vibrated the phone off the sweet spot over the course of the night. Wireless charger has been in the drawer ever since.

This entire imessage issue with Beta two is a big bug, i worked on it from 7 PM EST to 6 AM EST time and the only way you can come close to get it to work with out a lag on your phone is to setup a phone wipoing it and set up as a brand new device. One you get to a screen where it says Imeesage Authentication and you get ! over the messages app, you need to HARD RESET THE PHONE and then the phone part of the imessages will start to function and not LAG! and you will get a promt on the MAC OS to synch up your phone ID to use with imessages, now you also have to remove the number on your iphone and add back in for it to synch up with the mac OS, but there is always a but, the MAC OS still has the oiption grey and you cannot select ENABLE IMESSAGES IN THE CLoud, no matter what I do, clean for mat reinstall of the OS, wiping phone new isntall no data restored that option is greyed out, but it does get the system to the point where it's stable and does not lag on the messages just the Icloud part is broken still!!!!!!! big big issue and need to be fixed ASAP for BETA 3 release for sure...

Since I only have an iPhone and don't have other Apple devices, you think it's a good idea to disable iCloud messages?
