iOS 11.3 Beta 4 Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

No. I've experienced apps locking up and lagging and various other issues are being discussed in the thread.

Also, only some people will encounter or be bothered by these bugs, so it's impossible to say whether it'll be stable enough for your day to day use. If you expect it to run smoothly then I wouldn't recommend it.
 
Is the airdrop icon in the share sheet “new?” Looks like the iOS 8 icon now.

Also turning OFF iCloud messaging and restarting the device works! iCloud messaging remains OFF, until you turn it back on. With beta 3, it would turn back on by itself.

Even though everything synced correctly after the beta update, the same device has not added any new messages that the other two devices have sent or received. :(
 
Anyone else getting an error when attempting to update (unable to verify). Worked on my iPhone X however cannot install on my ipad pro.
 
Anyone else having issues with earphones (mine are BeatsX) dropping out? The connection remains, and the music is playing, but there is just silence until you change output from BeatsX to iPhone and then back to BeatsX. Happened occasionally in B3 but is every few minutes in B4 and it’s driving me nuts.

No issue with AirPods or Solo3 with iOS but I do have issue with tvOS with couples seconds of silence or sudden disconnect and reconnect once in awhile. Have you tried to unpair and re-pair it if it make any difference?

Apple contacted me to gather more logs on the problem and now I can't reproduce it. I was easily able to reproduce it before posting here and submitting the bug report. At least I know I'm not going crazy. :/

That’s strange. Mine is still doing it right now, this time with the swipe up gesture to switch between apps. (It happens when I multitask like this AND the left and right swipe on the bottom of the screen as well.)

If you delete the download and retry it will often work. I think it's under GENERAL-> IPHONE STORAGE it'll be named something obvious like update

I’m experiencing this glitch on X where you slide up and unlock with Face ID but as soon as it goes to home screen the lock screen pops right back up showing the unlock at the top and you got to swipe up again to go back into home screen. If you were in an app, as soon as you swipe up and unlock it, you’ll see a glance of like a blank screen and disappear.

I've noticed mine doing the same thing, intermittently.
 
1. Iphone 7 plus here, battery life is great no issues at all.
2. The Imessage Synch is broken, not all messages synch when deleted, its random, sometimes it works entire day and sometimes it's broken entire day fyi! sometimes IOS delete works and synchs and sometimes does not and VICE VERSA from the MAC.
3. Noe dont yell at me, but i been using EDGE briwser from Microsoft and i cant effing belive it, but i like and i have been using it now for myabe 3-4 months tops, the latest update from MS added 3D touch support/presure screen thing when u press on the screen and its working 100 percent, but the browser crashes on sites such as TMZ where there is heavu POP ups or ads or something i notice, it also like to feeeze during video, especially on facebook when u play a video and then close the video, it pops back open and starts playing and keep doing that untill you close facebook tab and go back in, its like u cant get away from the same video after u watch it, it keeps popping up over and over again! and its really crazy not even in a millions years did I think I would be using Internet Explorer/EDGE browser on IOS it's cookoooo but im telling u guys take it for a test drive, its amazng how ncie and quick and solid it is.


also i notice my WIFI speed went up by 10 MB, i was getting 75-80 MB DOWN, i now get 90-92 all the time on my 100/50 internet speed!
 
Seems like iBooks is back to its dirty dark grey background instead of the true black one used in the previous betas. :eek:

Then, this morning I got the bug where it said my WiFi password was incorrect and could not connect to the network. Tried toggling airplane mode, forgot the network and tried to re-join, restarted my phone, hard reset my phone, reset my router. None worked. I then reset my network settings and that finally worked.

However, I then found out my wife couldn’t connect either and the exact same thing was happening, but she’s on 11.2.6.

Obviously this has something to do with how my router talks to iOS 11, as I never had this issue previously. Weird that resetting the router didn’t fix it though.

I’ve seen many posts about this kinda WiFi issue specifically involving 5ghz.

Had an interesting occurrence today. iPad was locked. I unlocked it and appeared it was connected. I couldn’t navigate to any websites. Checked my iPhone next to me and all was well. WiFi was good. Able to load websites. All other devices in home fine too. Link rate in router showed 6/13 for iPad, which was weird. It’s like it never came out of power save mode. I had to turn WiFi off/on to connect. I reported it.
 
I keep getting wifi dropouts, it shows i'm connected but cant access anything had it on the previous two betas. I've tried resetting network settings and on both bands (2.4ghz & 5ghz) still get the same issue. iPhone X an my partner is too.

I also keep getting unresponsive key presses on stock keyboard and in apps (ie: amazon, ebay etc) its intermittent and on the keyboard its not always the same keys they are random each time.

I've reported both issues in the last two betas but still not fixed. is anyone else getting either of these issues?
