Great it’s not just me lol.

Thought it might be because I only have about 6ish gigs left on my 64gb X. Probably still could be lol.

Don't think that's the problem, I have 35ish gigs of free room on mine...

But it says it's connected to my personal wifi router when I go into settings.

Read his response again, but slowly, and take some time to reflect on it. Hint: WiFi and internet are not the same thing.

I have noticed, since replacing my 7 plus battery myself with a Replacebase battery, 11.3 is unable to determine the batteries health and says ‘service’. Now coconut battery states 2926/2900mha and my battery life has massively increased and it back to when I first got this iPhone.

Now, what effect will this have in the future, are Apple trying to stop 3rd party replacements. Will they slow down iPhones based on this?

Anyone else seen this?

My iCloud Music Library on my phone is not updating when I make changes in iTunes on the computer. Anyone else having this issue?

It's funny because I can force an update by deleting a track from a playlist on the phone. So I created a dummy playlist with a few tracks in it for this purpose.

Have you tried Reset All Settings?

Nearly there days and no WiFi issues. All devices have stay connected. How’s it going with you, @Chazzle?

Glad you asked! I confirmed that the issue IS iCloud Keychain related.

My connection had been perfect all day yesterday. Then, I was using my phone last night (on Safari I think), and literally as soon as the clock struck 9pm, my WiFi disconnected and box popped up saying incorrect password.

Based on my previous testing, I went directly to iCloud Keychain, tried to turn it off (again it turned itself back on) then went directly back and tried to connect to my network and BOOM, connected immediately without even asking for my password.

Seems there is some sort of iCloud Keychain syncing issue with my account. The fact that this happened as I watched my phone’s clock hit 9pm is very interesting.

Glad you aren’t having your issues anymore, and it seems I’ve finally determined the source of mine.

Hi guys, I have just received my iPhone X and was wondering how to turn on the battery % symbol? I can’t seem to find it in the menu at all. Has it been removed?

I had an issue like that before with iCloud Keychain. I wanted to just reset it but I had so many saved passwords I didn’t want to lose any. What I did manage to do was using my Mac and the keychain utility. I deleted the saved WiFi networks on iCloud Keychain. I then just rejoined them and checked that everything synced properly using the utility on my Mac. This was outside of a beta, it just seemed that keychain went belly up on me. You could give that a try if you’d like.

Excellent. I’m sure when Apple finds the issue, it will be fixed for many. Great troubleshooting my friend!

Thanks for the suggestion. Totally spaced out trying to delete the password from my Keychain Utility on my Mac. All I had done was delete the system saved password under Wifi settings. Just tried what you suggested and I'll be curious to see if my problem persists.

Yeah, I tried a clean installation also. Seems Apple will refuse to display battery health data for 3rd party batteries. Stuck the original back in and it said 79% straight away.

Back to unable to determine service now after switching back

I believe on the X, the only way to get the battery % is to invoke Control Center.

Yeah, my problem was almost identical to yours. On my iOS devices, iPhone and iPad, I would get occasional prompts to rejoin the WiFi and input the password for it. My watch is what really tipped me off, though. It wouldn’t connect to the WiFi at all. I went digging around the keychains using my Mac and my home WiFi was saved just to the system keychain, not both it and iCloud. So the Mac seems to work fine like that, my guess is that the iOS devices would periodically dump the home WiFi network since it never made its way to the iCloud Keychain. I deleted the WiFi networks from the system keychain as well as the iCloud Keychain on my Mac. I then rejoined the home network and saw that it properly synced over to iCloud and that problem has went away. Not sure if that will do the trick for you, but worth a shot.

iPhone X owner here, that’s correct. There isn’t any room in the status bar for the % so it only shows up in control center. Probably my number one reason for swiping that thing into existence. On a side note, control center on the X is brought into existence in a terrible manner for those of us with smaller hands. I mostly don’t use it because of that.

Interesting. Question. When your wifi would disconnect, would the box pop up and say incorrect password? That is what was happening to me and putting in the correct password kept getting that response.

It’s been awhile since I had the issue now, but if I remember correctly it would tell me the password was incorrect. I would put in the correct one and it wouldn’t connect. I’d get frustrated and tell iOS to forget the network, then rejoin and put in the correct password and it would work for some indeterminate amount of time before needing to repeat that. It was only happening on the iOS devices, but in troubleshooting the WiFi APs I realized the watch wasn’t connecting to WiFi and then checked iCloud Keychain and found the problems there.

Use the 3rd party battery and put the original back in when you sell it later down the line.

Sounds like we've had the same issue. No problem connecting on my Mac. I did find though that none of my system saved wifi passwords are being translated to iCloud from my Mac. So, I tried turning iCloud Keychain off (to turn it back on) and as with iOS, it keeps automatically turning back on within 5-10 seconds. Not sure if this is a common bug or just with my account. Submitted feedback for both macOS and iOS.

iCloud Keychain turning on automatically is likely related to the beta. I didn’t have that issue during the time I experienced this. I was able to fix it by clearing the WiFi networks, though. In my case it wasn’t a hard decision because it turned out that a lot of the saved networks were old WiFi networks I didn’t need anymore so starting fresh helped me out anyways. It was a super frustrating experience for a couple weeks until I discovered what was causing the problem, though.

Still having music player issues on this beta. Was listening to Pandora and not only would the music controls not show on the lock screen, but the control center music player showed the song was paused when it was playing. Had this a lot early on but not for some time.

I kept having weird glitches with the Music app, like tracks not appearing and being out of order (reported). Also after hearing about the iCloud Keychain issues above I decided to ditch the beta and go back to 11.2.6.

Godspeed to all that stay the course, though. Hopefully they'll get the bugs out!

On top of the cellular connection drops (ghosting) I've experienced a couple of times (started with Beta 3), today on a drive of about 90 minutes I had the phone lose wifi connectivity with my Alpine ILX-107 head unit (it does wireless CarPlay). First time I was able to get it to reconnect by toggling the wifi and disabling bluetooth, but the second time I had to reboot the head unit.

Reported.

Anyone using Facebook groups? Just updated to Beta 5 and when I click on the shortcuts to the groups I'm members of, the app force closes. Ive rebooted and reinstalled the app, still occurs. However, I found that by navigating to the group via prior notifications, then go and click on the main group page thereafter, it appears to be fixed sometimes. Was working fine on 11.2.6.

Hey guys, I am currently using an Iphone 7 on 11.3 beta 5. Whenever I listen to music on my phone with my bluetooth or wired earphones, the music will always pause for 1-2 seconds right after I have locked my phone for couple seconds. And sometimes the music will get distorted as well... It’s been really annoying for myself and I’m wondering is anyone experiencing the same issue? Any resolution other than resetting the phone...
