Oh look the music app is broken in another way (going to an album doesn’t show you’re listening to a song from it)

Has anyone noticed that the camera takes longer to open in 11.3 versus 11.2.6?

I'm noticing what feels like a long delay when I open the camera, either by swiping left on the lockscreen or opening the app directly.

iPhone 7 Plus.

iPhone 7 Plus here and no lag

one of the bugs reported in beta 4 (#143) seems to be fixed:

- when you put TV app in background during video playback and come back to keep watching, sound will playback fine but picture is frozen.

Anyone have a fix for when the Up Next widget stops showing your upcoming events? Tried a few reboots and nothing fixed it. Was working normally after I installed this most recent beta, but stopped working correctly last night.

Why do apple push out new betas when there still is remaning issues from other betas left?
It seems you answered your own question. ".......there still is remaining issues from other betas left"

Really want to try out this beta... but I’m very anal about my messages.. I have close to 30 gigs on my phone. And don’t want to lose anything.
Just don't enable iCloud messages and that wont (shouldn't) be an issue. But certainly if those are really important then running beta firmware may not be the best option for you.

Ugh - never mind. Apparently the “Up Next” widget only shows calendar entries with a specific start and end time and does *not* show events that are listed as “all day.”

So, so stupid. iOS is becoming ridiculously annoying.

anyone else observing occasional out-of-order messages in iMessage? Seems to happen when I send messages from my Mac and later they sync to iPhone.

Slow but works here too. I thought that was one of the things APFS were meant to solve?

Scrolling through the list drops a lot of frames too. iPhone X.
I get the frame drop as well. And, I think you are correct, in theory, about APFS. But there could be something in that screen that needs some rework.

Group conversations in the Messages app aren’t searchable by last name, only first name, when composing a new message.

Try removing up next then reboot then add up next widget again !

Some users still reporting not all messages get sync across iCloud devices as yet. With 30GB, you may need at least tier 2 50GB iCloud storage to be able to completely backup them to iCloud. You must have 2-factor authentication and iCloud backup enable to work properly. Suggest you wait for final/RC version or public release if you don’t want to lose any valuable messages.

Yeah... iCloud storage isn’t a problem. I have 1tb if iCloud storage shared between myself and my family.. plenty of space available

I have an idea instead of throttling iPhones when the battery is not able to hold a complete charge why not enable low power mode and this would stay on forever unless the user switches it off.

I am not sure if the processor speeds are throttled on low power mode ( perhaps someone can test or reply if they know )

But I do know with low power mode on I get fantastic battery life and as I have mentioned before every new beta release I turn on low power mode as I know that first day the battery drains fast but the next day after. Harding it turns itself off which is fine but on old batteries perhaps it should be left on !

I also always use low power mode for GPS as using the GPS really eats battery up !

What do you guys think of this idea ?

Anyone else connected to Wi-Fi and not seeing a Wi-Fi icon?

Using an iPhone X

That happens when your Wifi is not actually connected to the Internet, ie. if the iPhone is unable to reach "the outside world". When no Wifi icon is shown despite you being connected to a Wifi, you will transfer data via mobile network.

But it says it's connected to my personal wifi router when I go into settings.

Has anyone tried running the beta in Smart Invert mode and noticed any difference in speed compared with without Smart Invert and normal mode?
