New Features & Changes
  • Users with multiple Apple IDs can now use Touch ID to complete purchases on all Apple IDs. Previously, only one Apple ID can be set to use Touch ID. (Or this is a bug)
New Issues
Remaining Issues
  • The shared web credentials API always returns the error “Autofill disabled”
  • Widgets jump up then goes back to normal position after device restart (Since iOS 11.0)
  • Widgets and search bar overlap during a call (Since iOS 11.0)
  • Emoji keyboard has duplicate emojis in the Frequently Used tab after resetting the keyboard settings (Since iOS 11.0)
  • Unlocking a device causes the keyboard to disappear for a moment if the keyboard is left open before locking the device (Since iOS 11.0)
  • App opening splash screen becomes black if you close an app, then immediately after opening the same app (Since iOS 11.3 beta 3)
  • 3D Touch Quick Actions cannot be initiated immediately after unlocking the device, takes 2 seconds waiting (Since iOS 11.3 beta 3)
  • When using the keyboard as (two-finger) trackpad in Spotlight Search on iPad landscape mode, x,y axes movement are still incorrectly swapped (Since iOS 10.0, nearly two years.)
  • Lock screen music controls occasionally do not show when playing music.
  • Cannot turn off iCloud Keychain-turns itself back on (not sure when bug was introduced)
  • Attachments in messages are in the wrong order when doing a clean install of iOS and setup as a new phone.
  • iCloud Messages problem. The information on the size of the messages in iCloud Storage does not match the size in iCloud Storage/Manage Storage/Messages/Conversations.
  • Camera can hang or be slow to load
  • Settings app hangs and then crashes when you check General > iPhone-Storage. (iPhone X, please verify other devices)
    • Works on my iPhone X, but is slow to load and scrolling through list lags [ @ErikGrim ]
  • Not all threads in a message conversation are being restored from iCloud after a clean install and setup the phone as new.
  • Adding a new contact via the dialer in the phone app will save the contact but the contact name will not show up in the dailer.(Since iOS 11.2.6 - iPhone 7, please verify other devices)
  • App Store Update tab shows invalid statuses occasionally (#260)
  • TV app shows duplicate movies, tv shows and episodes (#177)
  • TV app shows seasons out-of-order (#177)
  • TV app shows wrong TV show title in multiple places (#177)
  • TV app doesn't show downloaded movies if you switch to the airplane mode (#270)
  • TV app: unable to stream some TV shows on cellular connection
  • Music app occasionally doesn't start to play a song when song title clicked (#150)
  • Music app: It's not possible to disable repeat song option once enabled while connected to car bluetooth

15E5216a the a at the end indicates that its not the final but they could totally just release this version and drop the a off right? Or are they for sure dropping another beta?

I think so too, I'm downloading as we speak. Also, I want to restore my messages from a clean install before I can say anything about my issues with attachments in the wrong order and the incorrect storage size on my backup vs messages =)

Beware what you read. Having checked most (some are features or settings that I don't use), I am simply not seeing the issues purportedly being reported by some and therefore placed on the issues list. My experience with iOS 11.3 beta 5 (and so far on beta 6) has been excellent on an iPhone X, 7 Plus and even on a lowly 6 (16 GB).

I’ve found that with checking the iPhone storage on the X that if you go into it then back out and back into it again. It then works fine and doesn’t crash.

However it doesn’t crash for me it just doesn’t populate the songs and videos etc.

I am thinking of installing this on my X. How was battery on beta 5? I know beta 6 just came out but how does it seem after a couple hours? Just curious. I expect some drainage being a beta but usually wait until later betas to install and test.

b5 on my X was not good battery life ! Hope b6 will be better
 
I had my X replaced last night due to it creaking and when I restored to beta 5, first none of my pictures showed up. Now, I have about 50 extraneous albums (that I didn't create), and the ones that I did, few of them actually have pictures in. I'm hoping beta 6 fixes this.
 
updating an app still makes the app icon disappear till a restart also problem with using 3D Touch straight after unlocking makes app remove problem still here, I hope its sorted for the GM
 
Anybody seeing a blank page when launching Safari?

Say you’re on Google, then close out Safari in the app switcher and launch Safari again, I get a blank page instead of Safari opening the last web page visited. It happens randomly. iPad Pro 10.5.
 
Both my issues with messages in iCloud has not been fixed. I did a clean install and setup the phone as new.

Attachments in messages are in the wrong order when doing a clean install of iOS and setup as a new phone.

I’m comparing my messages and the included attachments on my test iPhone against the iPhone that I use every day. The attachments are still sorted in the wrong order.

iCloud Messages problem. The information on the size of the messages in iCloud Storage does not match the size in iCloud Storage/Manage Storage/Messages/Conversations.

My iCloud-backup without the messages to iCloud activated is 12 GB. Out of those 12 GB, 9 GB consists of my messages. If you look at screenshot 1, my backup has suddenly increased to 26,2 GB? In my opinion my backup should only be 12 even with the messages to iCloud activated. Or am I wrong?

Also, in screenshot 2, the messages are now all of a sudden 14,2 GB? But when I go into iCloud/Manage Storage/Messages, the size of the conversations is 3,87 GB (screenshot 3)? This doesn’t make any sense.

I have sent them bug-reports on both issues and but have not heard anything since I sent them sysdiagnose-files (they replied back). Should I wait or should I send a new case?

new case for sure they need to see this. These are big bugs to me
