iOS 11.3 Beta 6 Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

I always find first day on any new beta very bad give it a full charge and see how it goes tomorrow. Also it was a tiny update so don’t expect miracles over beta 5 only a few percent of code has been changed !

After wiping and restoring my X again and letting it go overnight, Photos is reporting the correct number of pictures.

Some albums have a couple photos in them when they should have hundreds or even thousands.

One album is entirely missing.

My SE is correct with its albums/photos settings. Should I do an iTunes backup with that and restore my X from that?

I really don’t want to wait for 78k thumbnails to download and attempt to rebuild the albums, possibly incorrectly.

And, I had to reset my Apple Watch to re-pair it.
 
Still setting a wallpaper makes ui laggy so have to use apple one beta 6 seems a step back photos wont sync using icloud photos

Anyone having issues with the the phone app when adding a new contact? The glitch is as shown below. This bug existed since iOS 11.3 beta 3. The following video is taken on iOS 11.3 beta 5(not resolved in beta 6)

 
Hi again guys!

I have a question regarding messages in iCloud. I have installed this beta on two iPhones and both are signed in to the same Apple ID. Shouldn’t the messages sync across devices? Also, have any of you noticed that not all messages in a thread is restored?

Works fine for me iPhone 7 Plus using beta 6

However it doesn’t crash for me it just doesn’t populate the songs and videos etc.

I had to switch my screen settings to not go to sleep since it seems to take longer than 5 minutes to actually display storage category information. Still have a ton of "other" files taking up space.
 
Anyone else having issues adding contacts to address book? When I receive a contact via messages, view the contact, then click to add as a new contact or update an existing contact, it's not getting saved...


Oh and my battery life on a 6s is crap... It was crap on Beta 5 too but good on Beta 4...

First beta that I've experienced a seriously heavy battery drain, went from 100% to 80% in under 2 hours and then down to about 70% 15 minutes later.

Did a hard reset, and it's settled down a bit now, it's been 6 hours since the reset and now on 56%.
