Noticed last night that my iPhone X is reporting false weather results to my S2 Apple Watch. Shows there's thunderstorms or thundershowers when it's perfectly clear and in the low 40s but sometimes it'll show the correct information of current conditions. Temperature seems to be on point 100% of the time.

Apple Watch is not on beta.

Interesting. The weather channel app has been reporting thunderstorms in Chicago when it’s snowing. Since the Apple weather widget also pulls from the weather channel that makes the widget wrong. Glad to hear the temp is reading correct.

I am thinking of installing this on my X. How was battery on beta 5? I know beta 6 just came out but how does it seem after a couple hours? Just curious. I expect some drainage being a beta but usually wait until later betas to install and test.
So far so good on iOS 11.3 beta 6. Although today is not a normal usage day, the iPhone X is showing 82% remaining with a Usage of 2hr,36 min and Standby of 10hr, 2 min. I would say iOS 11.3 beta 6 is looking pretty decent battery-wise.

I can now confirm that I found another issue with messages in iCloud. I don't know however, if the issue has existed in earlier betas or if its new in beta 6 - but I find it hard to believe that its new in beta 6. Therefore I posted the issue in the wiki under remaining issues.

When you do a clean install of your device and then setup the device as new and sign in to your Apple ID, not all threads in a message conversation is being restored. Below screenshots is just an example, I have many other conversations that has not been restored in full. Screenshot 1 shows a message conversation from my phone that I use every day. The last received message was last Wednesday. On screenshot 2 you can see the same conversation but there, the last conversation is from January 23rd.

In my opinion, messages in iCloud is not ready for release. As we speak, I have three major bugs and we are now at beta 6. Surely, I can't be the only one that has reported these issues since beta 1?

iPhone 7 Plus: I can't get Touch ID to work for app store. Last beta I turned it off/on in settings to "reset it" which worked. This beta though, no dice. Anyone else only getting password prompt vice touch ID prompt for app store?

Thanks for that... Qu: Did you clean install this beta? Are you on Dev or Public Beta? (I'm on public), Do you have intel or QC iPhone 7+? (Intel for me) Did you need to turn On/Off Touch ID in settings to use touch ID in App store After updating to Beta? Is the game any good? :) Thanks!!!

iPhone 7 Plus public beta have not clean installed. I install each beta as soon as I can and haven’t had any major issues that would of made me do a clean install. I did not touch the settings for Touch ID but they have worked fine for me on each beta including this one. Ps the graphics in the game are terrible ! Thought it might be the beta but looked at screen shots on App Store and wow they are ugly !

There is no difference in the developer betas vs. the public betas except for the timing of their release. For example, 11.3 beta 6 is version 15E5216a for developers and for public beta users.

:D Thanks for that. I'm pretty much in the same boat as you with why/when install beta... This is the first uh, "serious" issue I've had... I'd do a clean install but It'll take ALL day (256GB with only 32GB free... movies & music)... If the next beta doesn't fix this for me, I guess I'll bite the bullet.

Very little time difference as of late too. Used to be a longer wait !

This beta feels like a step back for my iPhone 7 unfortunately.

Seeing more lag (keyboard, scrolling between home screens, opening apps, closing apps, etc) as if the processor is playing catch up.

More frequent app crashing including Safari.

Device got very warm with reduce transparency toggled.

I’ll be doing a full install through iTunes once it releases as I’ve been doing OTA, but no issues until this last beta for some reason.

Has anyone tried: downgrading to stable by ipsw as an update in iTunes? Trying to not lose info.
Yup, data seems intact but most login information is gone for my case but your mileage may vary

Hi, Have you noticed that the phone app has a bug? To be specific the dialer section, adding a new contact then it would go back to the dailer but instead of the contact name, it shows add number which doesn't work (the contact is saved but the dailer shows add number).

Yes somebody posted a video about it earlier. Way too many bugs
for a .3 release.

Always, at the least, make an iCloud backup, then turn off iCloud backup before upgrading to a beta.

This way if you have problems you can easily restore to the previous mainline release using that iCloud backup.

Apple Watch is not on beta.

I saw this too once or twice: iPhone 7 and Watch S2 with non-beta watchOS. The other day (I think I was on beta 5 at the time) my watch said thunderstorms, and I went outside and the sky was clear in all directions.

I think scrolling through the app switcher seems a bit smoother now on ipad pro 10.5. Still not as smooth as ios 10 though.
