Just encountered another bug. I update an app and although the app updated and shows the blue dot next to its name on my home screen, the App Store shows that the update is stuck and is hanging. Had to clear the App Store from my app switcher to fix it.
I've seen this randomly since iOS 11. A pull to refresh inn the updates screen usually fixes it. Also pulling will check for updates ;)

The pull didn’t fix it for me. Even going to that app’s page on the App Store showed the same spinning circle. Oh well.

Anybody seeing a blank page when launching Safari?

Say you’re on Google, then close out Safari in the app switcher and launch Safari again, I get a blank page instead of Safari opening the last web page visited. It happens randomly. iPad Pro 10.5.

After closing out Safari, I do get a blank page, then it reloads Google. I would consider this normal. Tried this about 10 times with different delays.
iPad pro 10.5

Edit: clarifying that my last website visited was Google

I’m not getting this on my devices though. It does reload my last visited website

I get the blank page and it never loads. Have to navigate to a website from there. Happens randomly. I wonder if it’s an ad blocker issue? I run AdGuard and since have switched to BlockBear, to test. I’ve reported the bug.

@Chazzle

I think what’s happening to my connection only happens on the higher channels, example 153, 157.

iPad drops connection, but appears connected. iPad is just barely connected. Rx/Tx link rate in router drops to 14/13 and is stuck there. All other Apple devices link rates are fine and connected. Only way to fix is turn WiFi off and on. Third time this has happened and only on iPad 10.5 on 11.3 beta. iPhone 7 Plus fine, iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6 Plus on 11.2.6 fine.

When I was connected for a few days and all was well, I was on channel 44. Everything else is the same.

Sounds like perhaps there is some interference in your area on those higher channels. Have you ever done a WiFi scan to check for which channels have the highest amount of traffic on them? I use the Airport Utility iOS app for this.

I’ve used it. I also have site survey in my Asus router. Using Merlin’s firmware. I had it on 153 and no one on 153 here had the issue, except me. What’s interesting, if I turn wifi on and off the link rate corrects itself. The only times this has happened, I was on the higher channels. Remember when I was ok for days? I was on channel 44. No issues like this. Odd. I’ll stick with 44 for now and see what happens.

It might be the connector isn’t touching but have you tried cleaning out the port using anti-static brush or toothpick with cotton?
I just cleaned it out with a toothpick, and while that didn’t fix it, my lightning cables stay in the charger more securely now so thanks for the tip, lol.

Very odd issue. Don’t even think it’s worth bringing to Apple because it’s so minor.

try confirming with other 7 plus users in the forum and see sometimes it's a bug for only 7 plus. it can be a damaged port too

Is anyone else’s iPhone not vibrating after being plugged in? Maybe it’s something wrong with my Taptic Engine.

iPhone 7 Plus here and it does light up and vibrate and starts charging !

If it was a pocket lint issue cleaning the port would fix the issue but it would not charge if it was not making a good connection.

Does it charge ? Does the little lightning bolt appear near the battery showing its charging also the display should show the current charge !

Even with ringer switched off it still vibrates and lights up screen and shows charging lightning bolt symbol next to battery and shows current percentage on screen !
In that case, my 7 plus also doesn't do all that. :) It lights up but no haptic no ding

EDIT: Turning off system haptics will disable the plug in haptic. Turning on system haptics turns it back on for me.

Yeah it’s charging just fine. I’m stumped on this one.

Ever since iOS 11, I haven’t had major issues ever on my iPhone 7. However looks like iOS 11.3 could be a step backwards. I haven’t yet installed the beta. But looks like almost everybody has had issues.
I saw couple of people having amazing performance on their iPhone X.

I really want to try but I am waiting thinking it has way too many issues.

Yes to both
And it sounds like it just started with this beta? That sure is a strange one. I know you said it was minor, but if the next beta doesn’t fix it, I would definitely take it in as it could be the first manifestation of something more major down the line.

I’ve had some strange battery/charger behavior with iOS 11, such as hearing the charging sound play and phone light up again after five minutes of plugging my phone in. That being said, I notice this behavior more if I plug the phone in and then keep using my phone for awhile, and then set it down to charge. Seems to happen within 20 seconds of setting it down which tells me it could have something to do wth Apple limiting the charge rate while you are using your phone, as I know using your phone while it’s charging can have a negative affect on overall battery health. Just speculating of course.

I’d wait for public release to be sure, but you’d most likely be okay considering you haven’t had any major issues yet in iOS 11. If you have iTunes, I’d highly recommend updating to 11.3 (once released) through that as it seems to be a better option for most.

I've just run into another issue but it doesn't always happen. When I tap on a song name it doesn't start to play. It's name appears in the bottom bar "currently playing" but the playback doesn't start. I tried tapping several times but to no avail. When I tried another song it finally unblocked.

Anyone else observing this too?
