Technically if they have finalised the iOS 11.3 final version for iPad 6, then it should definitely be out for other devices. It would be the same build. Only matter of time when they release it.
[doublepost=1522260089][/doublepost]The build number is 15E216 and 15E218 for two different files. I don’t know why. They both seem to be for both version of iPads. It’s really confusing.

If it’s 15E216 then it’s the same as beta 6 because build number of beta 6 is the same with a letter suffixed to it.
[doublepost=1522260365][/doublepost]Apple is doing some crazy things with iOS these days. What is with two different files with two different build numbers for the same model of iPads. :p

So far I am suprisingly impressed. I’ve had a horrible experience with iOS 11 on my Pro 10.5. Since installing public beta 6 the difference has been night and day. No more stuttering or frame skips and everything is buttery smooth. I’m a major skeptic and very hard to please and I have no complaints. This is what 11 should have been from the very beggining. I’m very happy. This is how a $700 device should be running.

Sounds like you're having a pleasant experience with the latest 11.3 BETA. How would you compare it to 11.2.6 in terms of performance etc.?

Nope. A few inaccuracies in your post. On multiple occasions new hardware has launched with previous software. This same debate happened with iPhone X. Everyone said 11.1. It came with 11.0.3.

iOS 11.3 is not at GM stage. The iPad is coming Friday. At earliest we will see 11.3 is Monday because macOS got a new beta this week. 11 years of Apple history will outline that when one software gets a beta in a week, none get a public release in the same week.

You can think what you want. You have the right. I won’t take that from you. But just know what you are claiming has holes and assumptions.

Aaand.... 11.3 IS released for the new iPad https://www.macrumors.com/2018/03/28/ios-11-3-released-for-new-ipad/

Let's hope it hits GM for other devices soon.

I still think they would release it today since they have to release the same build now as iOS 11.3. And there is no reason to delay it.

i don't understand why people are praying for something full of bugs to be released as soon as possible... to cry like a baby after the release?

i hope that Apple doesn't release this mess anytime soon. We need more one or two betas before the GM.

Because ever since the release of iOS 11, anything apart from iPhone 8 or iPhone X had performance degrade. And i dont know about others, I dont want ARkit, iMessages on iCloud ( Actually I do but it is not important ), New Apple Music or Safari 11.1

I just want to have my original iPhone experience back. Last time i literally begged for this was iOS 7 and i end up buying the latest iPhone.

Has anyone had any issues where on this Beta when you click to edit a word the cursor highlight something completely different from what you selected it happens especially on this site

Yup, I've had it since ios 11. I've found to mitigate it, tap the word first, then press and hold to select

Its to prevent what happened with the X. The new iPad is on 11.2.6 but people on 11.3 beta might buy it and they wont be able to restore.

I don't understand how you come to that conclusion? They would just install the beta profile, download the beta and then restore from a backup.

There is no requirement from Apple to issue a separate build for the new iPad. They have been working on that iPad a lot longer than iOS 11.3. So would have already built the functionality into the beta. They just need to add the device to list of the devices supported

Remember when iPhone X came out, there was no beta for 11.1 for the X? That was the issue. It took over a day for them to release - meaning those with 11.1 on their old phones were stuck in limbo. This resolves that issue ahead of time.

Actually, new ipads are released with iOS 11.3 only and there was no way to install 11.2.6 on them. Since a lot of review units were out with reviewers, apple had to give them the ipsw in case something goes wrong.
