Someone has tested 11.3 on an iPhone 6??? I am interested on it. But currently with a new battery I will only upgrade if it works at least like 11.2.6 (battery, speed and bugs).

I can read positive feedback in general if iOS 11.3. But none of them is specifically from iPhone 6. And nowadays someone can't take anything for granted.

In fact I won't upgrade to iOS 12 unless there are lot of positive feedback from users with iPhone 6.

Thanks a lot!!!!!

My husband has a 6 and so far all is working fine .

Same here. Gave my husband my 6 when I bought my 8 plus. Updated it yesterday and all is well with it. It always had great battery life and the health meter says 97 percent.

I've just seen that the settings for the News app have appeared, yet no app on the homescreen. Region is set to Germany.
I checked once again. Nothing. Maybe it stays there because you changed the country, like it happens with Apple Pay?

I checked also Google and twitter and can´t find any hints.

Here’s a new bug that’s happened twice on my 7. Only way to get rid of it is to power cycle. Kind of annoying.

Only way to close the control center is to hit the home button. But I just end up powercycling.
I have a 7 and haven’t noticed this bug yet. Sounds annoying, but maybe not widespread.

Sorry I forgot to reply again. The settings were gone this morning... I do switch often between UK & Germany due to travelling so much between both, so maybe something got stuck somewhere.

Short offtopic: News has gone downhill in the UK anyway, as once BBC News and Guardian quit the service I lost interest.

Anyone notice that if you have a 3rd party battery; battery health states iPhone is unable to determine battery health. Surly Apple should allow this, it’s not like other OEM batteries lack this capability.

Absolutely no problem. I hoped that they might push it, so I checked. I want the News App and Apple Pay.

is smart invert safari not working for anyone? notes say images should be displaying properly but not the case for me right now

have tried to relaunch safari but to no avail thus far

any thoughts?

Anyone else use Snapchat filters to record videos? My speakers on 8 Plus still crackle when I use a high pitch voice on a filter. That’s the only crackling I hear. My brother’s 6 does not crackle like mine does in Snapchat.

Took my backup iPhone 7+ and updated to 11.3.
This is a wifi device only ...

Issues noticed:
Takes longer to connect to WiFi on awaken - 2-3 seconds vs. 1 (11.2.6)
Some apps (3rd party) are slower to open - hopefully updates will fix
Shooting HDR photos is slower in normal light. Bright light seems the same
Safari tab reloads have increased - also loading the bookmark page when opening is much slower
Same email issue as on my IPP - badge not accurate
Some apps take >1 tap to open
Overall the OS seems faster while some apps (and Safari) run slower.

Battery - no idea yet.

I have an ip7 and its not happening when I bring up the control center.

Did music on the lock screen always show "AARON'S AIRPODS" before 11.3? I don't remember ever seeing that, and definitely not in all capital letters, but I could be wrong. Maybe it was always there?

My husband had a new battery put in a coupe of months ago as it had run down after i handed it down to him . I see we have the same kind household ;-)))

I'm having kind of the opposite problem..... if I search in the search window at the top of the SETTINGS app, the ONLY results I get are app titles (and no duplicates). Searching for any settings items like for example "display" yields NO results.

This is a new (to me) iPhone 7 that was fully wiped, restored from my SE backup and updated to 11.3 yesterday. The SE that it replaced is also on 11.3 and DOES return results when you search for settings items.

Is this a bug or just a setting that I missed?

Paul

EDIT: After some Googling and reading..... apparently this is "a thing" and not unique to 11.3 specifically. Per other threads, reset all settings restores normal search behavior and I can report that in my case, as soon as I reset all settings normal search behavior was restored. I then reconfigured all settings manually instead of restoring from a backup.... just in case.

Not sure if it is related, but this iPhone 7 was originally wiped and then restored from my SE backup. From my reading in other threads, there may be a connection between this issue and restoring from a different phone (same OS version in my case).

Well just tried a reset all settings and no change, works fine on my iPad but not on iPhone X still.

It appears so! I also set all his phone settings for him and do the updates. He is much happier letting me handle it all for him.
