How’s battery life for all? I saw a video on redmondpie showing that battery life has reduced in Geekbench battery test across all devices.

I was waiting to comment about battery life until I had used both my iPad pro 10.5 and iPhone 7 Plus for a couple of days after updating to 11.3.

Battery life has reduced noticably on both devices since updating. Weirdly, battery life was excellent on 11.3 beta 6 but since the full release, as I have said, batteries are draining quicker.

I m tired ... my 7 plus has a superb battery life on ios 10 , im installed last betas and battery is a bit better but not on pair ios 10, my battery is at 97% health ... ios 11.3 is the same....

Seriously think look a android , you can decide what version install , not imposed by a company. ..

Honestly, even though it’s a bit bad, Apple is a better bet. I own both Apple and android.
Except for pixel phones, software updates are a joke. Just see SAMSUNG s8 Oreo update issues. Internet is plagued with all sorts of issues. SAMSUNG had to pull updates multiple times.

Father own a one plus 5. It also had pulled the Lates Oreo update more than once.

Features wise - since most companies implement only X.0 version of the latest update. For example, Samsung s7 didn’t get a new update after android 7.0 in spite of 7.1.1 being the latest.

Therefore android doesn’t even release more updates beyond X.1.

Having said all that, Apple is still way better in terms of software updates and support.

Yada yada yada .... same rhetoric.

Switched from a 7+ to a Razer - battery is better and have all my security updates. And I don’t have the iOS 11 mess. Well, I still do on my IPP ...

Battery on my IPP 12.9 G2 is .. wonky o_O
90% and higher lasts. Below 90 it drains faster than it used to. Will keep an eye on it....
[doublepost=1522598175][/doublepost]Having morning coffee with some of my klatch group and with 11.3 our solo X member can no longer take screenshots.
Any ideas?

at least on Android you own the device and there are ways to download version.
I m user from iphone 4 but in last years can see apple forget very quickly last devices ... not bad , run properly, but in one upgrade the phone loses its magical operation without being able to recover it again
I puchase a expensive phone 7 plus 6 months ago for his good battery life , upgraded to ios 11 and his battery decreased noticeable... not bad but noticeable different compared to ios 10 . This not occurs years ago in one upgrade.

Should i update from beta 6? How is the battery life on the final version after few days? the same?

iPhone 7 here and battery def took a pretty good hit on the latest update which is kinda strange since it was really stellar on all the betas. Last nite I had had enough of crap battery and decided to run it down to a shutdown. Maybe not the recommended thing but I've kind of had it and as I have had success doing this in the past I'm currently recharging from zero. I'm totally optimistic it will help. Or not. Guess I'll see after a full days usage.

I still have a random issue with Safari launching a blank web page, instead of the last web page visited. Seems to happen when I close Safari in App Switcher and relaunch at a later time. iPad Pro 10.5

In regards to this issue: I restored my iPad via iTunes, restored my backup and I haven’t experienced a blank Safari page since. Knock on wood.

How do you guys know 11.4 beta will come this week?

Lets hope they fix the remaining issues. Weather widget still doesn't work for me properly.

Safari is also a train wreck for me with my iPhone 6. Scrolling through long storylines in facebook-website ends up in white screens, refreshes and lags. Youtube website doesn't react to clicks when watching videos (only when tab is reloaded or video is finished).

The reloading of open tabs is annoying as well. Especially if you want to read a story from an open tab but have no internet connection (like in a train). Doesn't work most of the time because it needs to reload.

Sorry Apple but this is a joke.

Lets hope we get a complete re-write of iOS code in the future. With a modern UI.

Well going from beta 6 to final has made my camera app on my X almost unusable. It takes 3-4 seconds for the shutter to open and when I switch to portrait it takes another 3-4 seconds. Tried multiple power resets, really not wanting to restore. Anyone else having this issue or can confirm a fix?

iPhone 7+ first day 11.3 was released I drained my battery and charged to 100% (100% battery health) got just a hair over 7 hours screen on time. Reverting back to 11.2.6.

Thats a lot of known bugs for a .x updatee.

WiFi calling will only activate if cellular is below 4 bars and it’s been that way since beta cycle. Do you not read the wiki first page on each beta? You can just put it on airplane mode with WiFi.

These are copy pasted issues from betas and waiting for users to verify if it still exist in the official release
Why copy old beta bugs from old threads rather than users adding new bugs to the new threads? Seems to make things a bit harder to digest. Plus I suspect most are not updating and removing those items anyway. Seems to make more since to have everyone add bugs as they come across them rather than relying on folks to go remove old previous beta bugs IMO. I really don't even look at page one anymore myself due to the fact that this copy/paste from each beta is hard to tell where things are in each new version.

Iphone 6S and first update in ten 7 years that ive used iphones that has had a huge impact on battery life...

Agreed re: Safari - scrolling thru some pages like forums are quite jumpy. Especially if they have their own inbuilt scroller.
Seems every update is getting worse. Same as macOS. Wonder if there will be a iOS12 this year?

Since I updated to 11.3 and I backuped before... with my iPhone 7. I don’t really want to update my iPad Pro 10.5” at the moment...

However, without a single read or new email, I automatically see 58 gmail emails even if I don’t have any read. It is annoying. A few minutes, it goes to zero and a few minutes it’s back to 58 emails.

I searched this thread and it seems nobody else had this issue. Anyone else?

How do I disable two-factor notifications?, I constantly have a red notification badge and a pop up that appears every morning since upgrading to 11.3.

Not interested in two factor as I travel often and switch out sim cards.

Continued testing of backup 7+ ... no sim - wifi only

With 11.3 has an issue connecting to wifi on wake up.
Approx 10% fail to initially connect. Locking and reopening usually allows connection.

Tried forgetting and rejoining - no change in behavior. 5ghz link
