I hope beta 1 comes soon, my withlist is:

iMessage in the cloud cant wait for that
Changes to ways to interact on the X like change control centre down corner not top and let you swip up in multitasking instead of holding twice to delete

Also get rid of home bar at bottom of x or have option to hide it as its in the way of games and i know how to use the phone now :)

And most important speed of animations and 60fps in the ui and all other bug fixes

How about your wishlist?

I have something to add for the x.
If Face ID fails, the passcode entry screen comes up.
We need an option on that screen to try Face ID again.
Either a “attempt “again button or do it automatically in the background.

Thoughts ?
You are supposed to enter your passcode on that screen so FaceID calibrates itself. Every passcode entry rescans (if the previous scan detected a similar face) and adjusts your face model.

The more you enter your passcode on failed scans the less you have to do it essentially.

Please do the following:
1. Add a BCC feature to iMessage
2. Allow backing up the contacts list on the iPhone to the iMac via a wired connection

Wishlist:
1. Better controls for control center on iPhone X.
2. iCloud messages in cloud (like for ever)
3. Text replacements through CloudKit, all over the place presently
4. An ability to see on the lock screen if fast charging is enabled or not (tons of threads with people and their assumptions, really confusing)
5. Better wallpapers :p

My iPad Pro has continued to be terrible. But if I had to pick one thing that needs addressing the most, it would be control centre. Simple things like adjusting volume and brightness have become SO cumbersome. I’m somewhat amazed how it’s not seeming to bother more people. Having to essentially leave your app to change the brightness on a thumbnail just feels INSANE, and because touch responsiveness is now so bad on my device, it often takes several tap attempts to even return to the app.

But realistically there’s no hope of 11.3 reverting to old control centre / multitasking behaviour. So honestly I don’t know what to hope for anymore. :(

I want my battery life and speed back that I had on 10.3.3 (7+)

Current complaints aside:
Fix Settings - design it so it makes sense from a User perspective. If needed, reference Android base design.
Fix Control Center - allow function access from within an app
Icon Placement and Themeing - one item I really enjoyed from jailbreaking
Expand Files functionality
Allow defaulting of some functions. I am not an iCloud subscriber (Google Drive and Box)
Allow defaulting apps.

Many more....

Correct sort order of search results in Notes
(since iOS 11, if you do a search the search results appear in random order which makes finding back notes awkward)

I cannot complain about 11.2, its extremely fast ( SE )

Maybe just a bit of extra battery life.

iOS 11.2 runs great on my original iPad Air. The only things I would like to see fix/added:

1) Customize NC widgets. I can't move the Apple TV remote button
2) Please the battery reset bug after rebooting the iPad.
3) Please fix the color issue with the dock after rebooting. I need to go into settings and toggle transparency off then on.

Option to skip swipe up on the lockscreen with FaceID.
Option to remove the pointless homebar.

I got my X yesterday, its so smooth with no delays. Maybe Apple really is doing it on purpose.
You are keeping the X?

I am not surprised it's much smoother. I have observed this on multiple iPhones over the years. That delay and the battery are purposely not being fixed on older phones.

Any chance we can go one thread without a conspiracy theory post from you?

I have an iPad Air 2, iPhone 6s and iPhone 5s, all running iOS 11. The 5s is a little slow, but all three devices have zero battery life issues.

----
As to the thread topic: I'm looking forward to iMessage in the cloud. I am so sick of deleting threads off of 5 different devices. Other than that and the usual bug fix here and there, I don't see anything that I really want. My devices do exactly what I need them to do. (watchOS on the other hand, I have a few things I want).

The button on the 8Plus isn’t exactly instant either. I don’t think it’s planned obsolescence.

Yes, I had it before and returned it. I feel I didnt give it a fair chance as it was a bit of shock.

After playing around with my co-workers X I got it again. So far its going well. I thought I would miss the wider sceen for video, but its actually not bad. Movies actually show more content compared to the 7/8 Pus because they are closer to the aspect ratio.

Its my fault actually, I brought it up. I dont think thats the case actually. Its just that the X is so smooth to navigate with the gestures.
