Hopefully, only then we can find out of Message in iCloud will make its debut.

I doubt that it will make its debut unless beta 6 changes a lot. The same syncing problems I had been seeing from 11.3 betas are still present in beta 5 of 11.4.

. . . is something that I sometimes lack.

I had a brutal power drain and hot phone since my upgrade to beta 5. Hopeful this update was emergency release to fix that.

So far cool phone with beta 6 vs hot phone always with beta 5.

As with every other build that Apple has ever released, OTA lags behind the beta site announcement for a fairly significant amount of time (1-60 minutes usually). Chill, it'll most likely show up within the hour.
1-60 minutes is a pretty extreme range for defining a "significant amount of time". I would not call 1 minute "significant". Today's event ==> yeah, that was significant.

In any event, in my experience, the OTA has usually, but not always, coincided with the release on the developer portal, i.e., around 10am PT. It has been these last few releases where there have been some delays.
