Thanks to the OP for starting this thread. It's always the first question I have and up until iOS 10 b1, I usually would wait till b3 or b4 (after learning the hard way on a previous version - don't remember which but it was years ago).

Installing on my iPP 9.7 now, since like many, should things be problematic, it won't have major impact on my work and critical / heavily depended upon apps & features. If the bugs are tolerable like iOS 10 b1, then I'll give it a go on my iPhone 7+ and also install watchOS 4 which I assume requires iOS 11 be installed on the iPhone to which the  watch is connected.

I'll advise as to the results of all 3 of the above devices assuming things are good enough on the 9.7. Thanks to all for sharing their experiences so far.

UPDATE: Been over 24 hours and iOS 11 b1 is running well on my iPhone 7+ and iPP 9.7. Surprisingly, so is WatchOS 4 b1 on my 1st Gen Watch (42mm Stainless) and seems to be less buggy than iOS, but there's a lot less going on in the watch software (or so it seems).

I'm definitely not upgrading to High Sierra till b2 or b3 as I don't have a mac newer than mid-2012, but since this is a thread about iOS I thought I'd throw in the watch and MacOS comments for people like me who are thinking of upgrading /have upgraded across the platforms.

One hipcup I've noticed is if I accidently download a 32 bit app to my iPhone it is sort of grayed out and I'm unable to use it. Attempting to delete it doesn't work. Even in iTunes. The app just sits there, grayed out and it took a restore to get if off my screen.

not many hiccups this time like usual beta 1 releases. running on ip7+ .. battery is fine and almost every app is running fine with few crashes here and there. Only one app which is 64 bit ironically crash on start screen itself. Also, in control center unable to toggle bluetooth settings.

Aside from a few bugs (which are to be expected since it's the first beta) iOS 11 has been running well for me on my 7. Only thing I'm concerned about right now is battery life, which has seemingly taken a big hit (it went down 25% in just over an hour this morning just listening to music).

Sounds like iOS 11 is running pretty well on the 7 Plus. Hopefully by the time of the Public Beta it will be good enough for me to put it on mine.

Unfortunately too glitchy on iphone 6, I’m downgrading tonight back to ios10 and I’m bringing my watch to apple store to have it downgrade to watch os3

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but if you change the AirPod settings for left and right taps on iOS 1 beta, this actually applies across all iOS devices even if they are on iOS 10; confirmed this with my iPhone, but not macOS yet.

Just figured I'd start this thread as I'm sure many others are wondering the same thing. Im about to do it on my iPad Pro because it is mainly just for entertainment purposes, so its fine for me if certain apps dont work or there are bugs.
But on my iPhone, I'm not too sure. So this is just a thread for people like me wondering if they should take the plunge or not. Those who have it installed: did you install it on a daily driver, how is it working, and is it good enough for a daily driver?

I have iOS 11, tvOS 11, watchOS 4 and macOS High Sierra installed on all my daily drivers. Just like iOS 10, these are the most stable betas for a .0 release in years. A few minor glitches, but they are all working great.

Good to hear! Hoping to try the public beta on my 7 Plus. As long as app compatibility is ok.

Yep agreed, the only one I’m struggling with is the series zero Apple watch dies regularly at around 4pm every day :)

Go to Settings>General>iPhone Storage. Apps are sorted by size and 32bit apps don't actually install so they'll be at the bottom and you can uninstall them there.

Same here, all relatively stable. The only issue I am having is major battery drain with watchOS4. I cannot get through half a day.

Same! About the watch. Let me know if you can identify the reason. Otherwise I am just dealing with it until the next beta.

B1 is acceptable, but painful to use for me.

Animations are choppy (iPhone 6S). Reboots once per two days or so. Battery drains noticeably faster.

Also have a problem with smart battery case as it seems to be eating battery in the phone first until I restart

Banking apps not working (in UK):

HSBC banking
Barclaycard

Being developer isn't easy. I really need another device for testing...

The battery drain is actually pretty bad. I'm starting to have issues getting through half the day with my iPhone 6S Plus.

Keep in mind I'm a pretty heavy user and I usually get my phone down to ~10% by the end of the day on iOS 10.

Running well on my iPhone 7, but the battery draining is disaster. 1% loss on each min ( background activity off )

Another iPhone 7+ user chiming in, it seems to be running well on my device and I haven't encountered any major bugs. Everything seems to work and things are mostly smooth besides at the beginning when I assume iOS was still indexing.

Battery life is still passable so it looks like I'll be keeping the beta as my daily driver for now.

likewise here, behaving amazingly well. Only issue is the notification drop down and the blue bar at the top stating something using location. Battery life is normal for me.
