Beta 1 is probably the worst/laggiest beta ever - strictly for developer usage at the moment.
totally agree. i'm not a developer, just an Apple nutter, definitely the worst since ios7 & that took some beating. my biggest issue is random crashes and problems with my SIM "bricking" the phone, thereby requiring a hard reset. Apart from these issues, it's ok as betas go... having said that i hope Beta2 comes next week.

It has happened to somebody???
Is this real?!
[doublepost=1497618731][/doublepost]Am I the only one that keeps seeing a message saying iPhone “was locked using Find My iPhone”?
It happenned at least 5 times. It unlocks after I sign in.
I’m sure no one signed in to my Apple ID, as I get an email whenever there is a sign in.

In iOS 11 for iPad when an external keyboard is attached, have they fixed the lack of an easy way to dictate? The only way in iOS 10 I'm aware of is to unpair/unplug the keyboard and let the software keyboard pop up. Please tell me this as fixed.

Anyone having trouble adding attachments to mail? They seem to all attach inline as almost an image and when viewing on the web like in Gmail just say the file name (123.pdf for example) with nothing attached.

Obviously a Files app issue since thats where you attach from, and they removed the other locations (dropbox, onedrve etc) unless through the files app.

It only seems to happen adding an attachment to a reply too. Starting a new email actually attaches the file.

I’ve had issues with calls and it being cut off whilst I’m on the phone, dunno if that’s happening to anyone else, I’ve also had heating issues on my phone as well as battery being rinsed out quicker but I’m assuming that’s normal considering it is beta 1. Hopefully beta 2 improves A LOT of the bugs

Looks really fake, but something like this could technically happen, because Apple has control over the certificates and they could just flip a switch and disable all developer profiles being misused, but I highly doubt they'd do that.

EDIT: The image comes from a fake Pangu site. Definitely fake!

Didn't see it on the list, but I've had issues with Siri communicating to HomeKit devices on my 10.5 iPad running iOS 11. I think I rebooted but still having the problem.

Update: nevermind, this is no longer and issue for me.

How's the new Notification Centre / Lockscreen experience for you guys?
Really like it, but still needs work. It's really hard to go to each notification, 3D Touch, wait 1 second, then swipe it down just to dismiss some notifications.

So Apple Music wasn't loading all of the cover art after installation. I thought I'd turn off the iCloud library and turn it back on thinking that might fix it. Every time you flip the switch for it, the switch immediately turns back off.

Anyone else have a problem with album artwork not showing, and also able to enable/disable iCloud music library?

Some facts about iOS 11 beta:

1)B'coz it uses new sync mechanism for syncing Safari bookmarks, once you downgrade to iOS 10.3.2 your bookmarks will completely disappear unless you update again to iOS 11.

I have installed iOS 11 a few times and gone back to 10.3.2 and have had zero issues with my sync'd bookmarks showing up on my devices. You're using iCloud to sync them?

Very often when I receive the call from lock screen with swipe gesture, then iphone freeze... Someone else?

Confusing as hell
i still cant get used to it, and i'm someone who is very very "tolerant" of Apple. As i have an iPhone 6, i now have to first unlock the phone, then go into NC to view notifications. As this unlocking procedure has crashed the phone at least 20 times, until hopefully Beta2 sorts this out, i've resorted to disabling my passcode. This has had two benefits, 1.The phone doesn't crash
2. when a notification comes, i just tap it (good old ios10 behaviour) and i go straight to it.

i know of course that in ios10 after you tapped a notification you still had to unlock the phone, but when you did this you went straight to the application concerned. i cant for the life of me understand why Apple thought this was wrong and changed it

Just FYI. You don’t have to unlock the phone first just swipe up from the middle of the lock screen. All previous notifications will pull up.

However, the method for dismissing notifications is terrible IMHO. 3D Touch and hold, wait for it to pull up, then either swipe down or click the X in the top right corner. Really annoying. Really hoping they bring back swipe left, dismiss.

Mine works fine, and shows perfectly the album art. Have you checked from iTunes to see if it works there?

I had this issue. Have you tried hard restarting the phone? That did it for me. Was able to turn off iCloud library. I rebooted again (optional, I think), and turned iCloud Music back on. My library art then loaded correctly.
