Is touch ID really slow for anyone? Its like 1st gen speed now...
Nope. Neither on my iPhone 7+ nor on my iPad Mini 4.

Does anyone else have an issue with iOS 11 beta 10 where Airdrop doesn't work properly? When I sent a certain file type to my iPad it used to open the app that reads those kinds of files automatically. Now it says "Yada yada requires an app from the App Store" even though I still have a compatible app installed.
Curious what the wear level is on your battery. Do you have CoconutBattery for Mac to check?
But if I already have the correct app for opening the file, why does it send me to the App Store? It seems ridiculous. If it's a confirmation message, it should say "Open with XYZ App?", not prompt me to launch the App Store.Yes. I do. Beta 9 used to open apps without any confirmation. I liked it because it was me sending between devices and expecting the file on the other device. I can't imagine what would happen if someone from my family sent me a photo without me expecting it, and bam, one moment I am reading MR and next moment I am taken to Photos. I think I would not like that. So, as much as an additional hassle it seems, to accept, it works because it tells me who is sending me and what, without breaking my user experience.

Last time that I have done that a few beats ago, the phone got buggy and more hot :/....and reset network settings. That fixed the hot/battery drain issue I was having last week when hard restarts did nothing.
Why do you have to do that?
I often change the brightness when I'm at home and watching media content on Netflix or Youtube. Maybe the sensor is fooled because of the side couch lamp, but I always feel the need to manually adjust the brightness when watching movies on iPad. Maybe on iPhone is ok, being smaller, but on iPad to minimize the whole screen and reach to that little slider is not as comfortable as before.

The consensus is an 11.0.1/11.0.2 will follow shortly. So perhaps some of these annoyances will be addressed then.
If the above bolded is true, why not go back to 10.3.3 until 11.3.3? If truly that's ALL you care about and the few milliseconds speed difference is that annoying to you. Its a simple fix rather than stressing over it.
And the same applies to iOS 11.0 when it becomes iOS 11.3.3. Same with pretty much every version of iOS since the beginning. It takes a few updates to get things sorted. Nothing new.
It's not a few milliseconds. The fact that the home button delay causes an iPhone 7 to respond slower than an iPhone 6 is more than a few milliseconds. This needs an emergency fix.

I wouldn't lend too much credence to his complaints. He literally starts complaining about battery life hours after installing every beta iteration. Is your cellphone signal always 1 bar? Or maybe 2? That will also deplete battery.
To state the obvious, YouTube streaming is a battery killer. 8+ hours is decent with your style of use + if your signal is always so low.

I don't get why you have to minimize the screen though, just slide up from the bottom and adjust.

if the ip7 is slower than a ip6 then it is HORRIBLE. my ip6 is now virtually unusable. . . i will be buying a new iphone this month but it is unacceptable that the ip7 is worse than the ip6It's not a few milliseconds.
