Huh. I never knew you could tap a link with two fingers on an iPad to have it open in the background. I’m guessing that was in iOS 10, or even earlier?
This works on my iPhone 7 as well. Didn't know about this either. Great little tweak.

Yeah the hone button delay has really got to me, i want the new OS but cant stand it why apple hasnt fixed such a simple thing makes me wonder about them, this sould not be like this on the GM and all the people on here sayinh calm down its fine its really notIn the 3DT menu, animation is not smooth, there is a slight stutter and frameskipping in the animation. When you open Safari or any app for that matter, sometimes there is a stutter as the app loads into view. When you scroll through the app switcher there are frame skips sometimes . The OS is just not as smooth as 10.3.3. And I have this problem on an iPad Pro 12.9 2nd gen and an iPhone 7 Plus
The mother of all problems is the home button delay. If you use an older device on iOS 10 you will realise how clunky and unresponsive the OS has become.
what app is thatSimilar experience on my iPad Pro 10.5. Opposite experience on my iPhone. It’s hard to believe this is the same build. Also it’s interrsting you’re usage mirrors mine.
I’m wondering if Apple forgot to upgrade or will upgrade the graphics and kernel drivers for the iPhone vs the iPad. A working theory.

Has anyone had issues with apps literally freezing and you're unable to put the phone to sleep or use the home button?
really obnoxious...
Just installed beta 10 from my dev account on my 5s today (I like to live dangerously I know).
It's actually decent, battery life seems to be the same as iOS 9 (abysmal, but it's a 3 year old phone), and apart from some freezes here and there (minor stuff that doesn't appear to affect day to day use), I'd say I'd use it as a daily driver.
The only major issue is the Notes app: i've got around 250 notes synced from my iPad Pro (lots of sketches), and the iPhone app really struggles: scrolling a list freezes mid way, as does opening a note, there doesn't seem to be a way to make more than one step before a freeze. The only way to proceed is to kill the app and relaunch (and usually the navigation step is then executed).
I've originally updated through OTA, then tried to disable and re-enable notes to re-sync, then reset iOS 11 to factory settings and restore the contents from a backup, but nothing seems to help.
The Notes app has always been kind of terrible with syncs, freezing heavily even on desktop when there was a lot of content to download, but this is simply unusable.
I hope the official release will somehow magically solve the issue, although I have my doubts. Hopefully this won't happen on the iPad pro, otherwise I'm screwed! Maybe it's just the old hardware?
Does anyone have the same experience?
what app is that
How AppStore is supposed to show updates daily? I open it every morning and the content is old one day. Then I kill the Appstore form app switcher and when I open it again the new content appear. Why they don’t put a pull to refresh also in homepage like the update page? Is yours showing updated content automatically?
Thanks for your input! This morning I tried again with disabling and enabling Notes in the iCloud account options, and after a painfully slow sync it looked at first that things got a little better... only for the next launch to get back to normal.I’ve seen this on older devices.

After five betas I went back to 10.3.3. What a difference! I forgot how smooth iOS can be. And i realized how much I missed the brightness slider without the need to minimize the screen I'm on. On my iPad mini 4, the new changes that iOS 11 is bringing (even multitasking) doesn't worth the upgrade as it is.

Good question. Maybe they don’t have Access Within Apps toggled and don’t realize it’s an option. Why do you have to do that?
Damn...you guys are so dramatic. Split second lag in a beta is nothing to get so worked up about.
99% of the people out there wouldn’t and couldn’t tell the difference.
My iPhone 7 Plus gets always hot, even with minimal use, so battery life its not great :/, and freezes sometimes, today after putting up a tweet my keyboard had a glitch that make all the letters blue, it lasted like 1 second tho.

The consensus is an 11.0.1/11.0.2 will follow shortly. So perhaps some of these annoyances will be addressed then. You do realise that 3 days later, everyone will have it on their devices? If you were happy with 10, best get it now as in some days they will stop signing 10.3.3 altogether.

I think they might just release a different build if such bugs exist even today. Or, that maybe so that the flicker is on non-Apple apps, but maybe it might have something to do with 120Hz display? Lot of maybes. 12 is not far away, and I do hope of a different build with more improvements and bug fixes.
That said, I have downloaded "GM" copies of my relevant hardware so I can now beat the download rush that day and just install and sign, if they really are the shipping releases. I hope not - I want some of the stutters and lags ironed out.
If the above bolded is true, why not go back to 10.3.3 until 11.3.3? If truly that's ALL you care about and the few milliseconds speed difference is that annoying to you. Its a simple fix rather than stressing over it.Yeah but what exactly had ios 11 really done right wow new control centre thats about it, all i want is fast fluid smooth os and now 3 months of testing and the main thing to make phone feel smooth is broken like the guys video side by side with ios 10 its a huge delay shutting apps and thats not right for a new improved software but on the forum ppl say i moan only cos its still not been fixed
And the same applies to iOS 11.0 when it becomes iOS 11.3.3. Same with pretty much every version of iOS since the beginning. It takes a few updates to get things sorted. Nothing new.No ios 10.3.3 runs lovely on 7 plus after it was sorted out so ios 11 has taken a huge step back
