iOS 11 Beta 2: Changes, Bug Fixes, Enhancements, etc.

Interesting bug. When I dictate a text message using the dictation button the keyboard, it captures the words live correctly, but as soon as I stop the dictation function, it immediately capitalizest the first letter of EVERY word. Tried this multiple times, same result. Anyone else seeing this? Need to try notes and mail and see if it's the same there too or just a messages bug.

Beta 1 was a bear to use I’m glad Beta 2 came out when it did, it fixed a lot of stuff on the backend. The system seems much more relaxed now so it runs smoother overall and is using less resources and thus less battery.

Happy with the progress so far, it’s coming along nicely. :)

But in iOS 10, it never showed a blue bar at the top after sending Waze to the background when I wasn't actively navigating P-to-P (at least not for me). It may have been doing that, but it never said it was doing that. And what I find odd is why doesn't Google do that? It shows the blue bar when navigating too, but not when you send it to the background when not navigating?

In iOS11, I now have to kill Waze everytime, otherwise that blue bar will stay there all day for me.

Very late to the party but I’m so glad iOS 11 has brought life to the iPad. I love how the multitasking works on iOS 11! That, and the new dock.




Edit: wasn’t there a way to have two apps open PLUS having a video play down on the bottom? Trying to play a YouTube video plus have two apps open side by side... I’ve seen it happen, just can’t remember how to do it.

Its syncing from device to device. So you can delete from one, and it goes away from all type deal. Also if you restore your phone as new, you can recover them.

It's called Picture in Picture but not all apps support it, Youtube being one of them (they really want to be sure you're watching their ads). A 3rd party app called ProTube supports it but is broken in dp2.

That seems to be the Plus, correct? Wondering if the letter spacing is also in the normal iPhone. Also, is that a new icon for the Mail app? :O!

Happened to me last night and then all of a sudden the update showed up. I restarted the phone and watch a bunch, reinstalled profiles. Nothing was working, but then it just showed.
 
Those on iPads seeing weird blue text in the bottom left corner?

I know its know big deal, but I can't figure out what its suppose to be.

Does it in Notes and eMail too. Appears to be a dictation bug.
