Pretty annoying. I don’t blame they but how this can happen? I mean, it is easy to see the bug and it seems that happens to everyone. Maybe they run out of time and they had to leave it like this.

Priorities.

If you were a developer, you'd understand the process. Their priority is not polishing the front end. Their priority is working with the backend and making whatever changes they are making. This becomes a casual oversight if they release this to the public as a final version. Nothing to get so aggressive about. This is not like they broke the dialer and released it to the public as a final version.

They've been messing with the Bluetooth stack and/or UI code for this "always on" toggle thing. I think it will be fixed. It still flashes when you turn it fully off then on in Settings as though it's connecting to something, even when it's not.

Yes, it does. That was the first check I did to see if the grey exists or if this is the new default, somehow. Grey exists, so this is most likely a bug.

I've noted a few comments about issues with the App Store and with the Yelp app, and I'm going to pile on with a new one that I haven't seen in these comments re B3.

I do have Yelp installed (I don't have an account with Yelp and it's only installed because of the iOS tie-ins with other Apple apps ). I updated Yelp, and it's working fine so far.

What's a bit odd that I'm experiencing is, with the App Store open and the frontmost app, tapping on the "Open" "button" to open Yelp, the Messages app opens and the topmost thread opens. I've deleted and reinstalled Yelp (and updated shortly after B3 was out), rebooted, Reset all Settings. Yelp is the only app that has this behavior, and it's not a deal breaker.

Yes, I've reported this bug…

Anyone using AirPods/bluetooth might want to hold back, very nasty bug is cutting off bluetooth within seconds to a minute of streaming audio.

Edit: It persisted through a reboot but just toggled airplane mode and working for now.

Yes. I hoped beta 3 would fix this. My AirPods stay connected for a while, then go through a period of constantly disconnecting. I haven't had the patience to see if they finally stay connected after their fit as yet.

The iMessage problem with the "!" symbol that has no sense is now gone, turn off and on iMessage have done the trick.
Also, having resprings in my iPhone 7 Plus, and sometimes when I try to see the phone screen when its off because its locked, it doesn't show up, even with pressing home or power buttons, and last like that like 20 seconds unresponsive.
That ! means its not connected/activated. I meant to respond to your orig post yesterday and got busy. So yes flip off the switch and back on typically solves that. I remember seeing some odd explanations as to what that means all of which were incorrect. Glad you got it sorted.

I am unable to clear/dismiss notifications from lockscreen. I have to 3D Touch each of them and tap close. It is super annoying. Anyone found a better way?
iPhone 7 Plus.

Apart from this issue, the phone can be used as a daily driver from Beta 3 onwards.

I think my way is pretty decent. Just press on it but don’t let go, and swipe down to dismiss. All in one motion.

Odd, this is the first beta I've run into this. Maybe it is that subtle.

The heat from this phone is extremely annoying. It has been better this beta, because when I don’t use the phone, it cools down. Unless it’s charging. When it’s plugged in, it is almost always hot. When it’s not plugged in, as soon as I start using it say yesterday I just started a song and the phone got hot for a while then cooled back down. Basic tasks such as checking a Facebook news feed, makes the phone super hot. Almost everything makes this phone hot on iOS 11.

Also, battery drain is still pretty bad on iOS 11 beta 3, and I believe when apps use location, it is one of the main culprits that drain battery.

Ever since I installed iOS 11 beta (1, 2, and 3), Spotlight stopped showing search results from my phone contacts. Then I remembered that I had deleted Contacts.app long time ago and decided to reinstall it. Lo and behold, it fixed the problem. What's interesting is that iOS 10 doesn't require you to have Contacts.app installed in order for Spotlight to pull its data. iOS 11, on the other hand, does. At least, it does in beta. I hope the final version of iOS 11 changes this behavior.

Edit: I reinstalled Contacts.app and then deleted it again. Surprisingly, Spotlight still shows its search results. Go figure.

This may have been mentioned, but I don’t see it on the front page. If you 3D Touch an icon and then slide your finger on the menu it will activate wiggle mode on my 7 plus. I’ve rebooted several times with no difference. Any others?

I noticed this too. I hope they revert back to the original way in the next beta. 6s

Weird bug where the app opening animation changes to one where the app slides in from the right side of the screen. Only way to fix it is to reboot.

Anyone else fighting with the app store to download updates or install programs? Tried restarting, hard restarting, using wifi, using cellular only.....nothing. Just spins the circle and does nothing :/

Yes. I signed out, restarted, went to app store, downloaded a new app, waited for Apple ID prompt and entered my Apple ID again and that worked, finally for me.

Can anyone confirm if deleting any system languages still crashes the settings app in beta 3?

In the release notes Apple stated settings app no longer crashes when deleting keyboards.

How is the performance in terms of opening apps, smoothness of the animation? When I tested Beta 1, it took three times as long as on iOS 10. Did they work on it yet?
