iOS 11 Beta 3: Changes, Bug Fixes, Enhancements, etc.

Beta 3 has been better for me in almost every way. Most annoying issue I've been seeing is with my Airpods disconnecting quite often now. iphone 6s here, anyone else having any apple music related issues (it was more of an issue with Beta 2 but my songs still don't start right away when I press play on Beta 3.)

If yes, I am facing the same thing with Swiftkey keyboard. Stock keyboard works just fine and picks up the text shortcuts just fine. It's a b3 bug for me. Worked just fine up till beta 2.

Well, am talking about the text replacement (see picture). In my Mac mini I have all my shortcuts, but on my iPhone they gone after install iOS11. Seems to be an issue with iCloud, I guess. I logged out and in in both devices, but nothing, the problem continue

I have Mail app on Notifications set up just to vibrate when receiving an email.
Sometimes it vibrates upon receving an email, sometimes don't. Sometimes the lock screen shows the notification and sometimes don't. What a mess!!!!!!!! If I go to notifications on purpose, the notification is there, but it won't notify me, sometimes.

Similar issue on iPad mini 4 too. Not just with photos but anytime sliding right to load widgets screen causes a re-spring randomly.

Mine all disappeared as well. Had to put all of them back manually.
 
Is anyone having any problems with Homekit?

Specifically, my automations on my iOS 10 device don't reflect the states that my iOS 11 devices do. I only know this because I have my Sunrise automation disabled... yet my air conditioner shuts off every morning before I wake up.

I don't know if it's related or not, but iOS 11 is the only variable that has changed.
 
Anyone experience a bug that hotspot is automatically on regardless of the setting if it is on or off? On my other device, I noticed my 7 continuous broadcast the hotspot even if its off.

Ok tried it like you said crashed the springboard. I have the iPP 10.5. Tried something different and opened photos from folders and didn’t crash.

My ios 11 devices have stayed in sync with my gf's ios 10 devices so far. Homekit is flaky as hell in general though. Even when we were both running ios 10 I've had to recreate the house several times. Twenty-something bulbs, 5 door sensors, 3 motion sensors and a thermostat (which also has several sensors). Joy :rolleyes:

Pro-tip: if you do decide to recreate your house and you have Hue stuff make opening the Hue app and syncing with Homekit the first thing you do. It at least recreates your rooms and puts the bulbs in the right place before you add anything else.

I think it's always visible to other devices signed in on the same iCloud account and that's by design. It did that on ios 10 too. Other devices wouldn't see it broadcast. That is, unless you're seeing something else.

This happens a lot when moving from one version to another. I had this happen a few times on iOS 10. Not sure if it only affects betas, but also others moving from one version to another on a normal (non beta) track.

Yes, with iOS10 was the same... but don't remember if I fix it in some way or the problem was solved automatically with next updates...

True. Was the same with iOS10, I sent the report in the Feedback app then. But I don't remember if I fix it in some way or if the problem was solved automatically with next updates...

I think there is something by design in this behaviour. The notification does not appear sometimes in iOS 10 also depending on whether the iPhone is placed face down or not.
Someone may give further situations where it will happen.
 
Anyone had there IPad Pro 10.5 freeze then shutdown? Was playing Mario and this just happened mid level. Had to hold my finger on the power button the restart.
