Very interesting. Maybe they were still having problems.

You were adamant that was a server side issue and not an issue with the iOS beta, nice to see it was actually an iOS bug.

The fact it was working for some people and not others proves it wasn’t just server side.

Just went through the release notes for B5. They have cleared so many bugs. This beta might be stable enough with lesser unimportant bugs being squashed at later stages.
A lot of those were in previous beta notes. Hard to see what applies just to beta 5 unfortunately.

Could you post a screenshot of the settings app so I can compare?

Sure. Also, my ‘Phone’ notification count is not only incorrect, but also not within the red dot.

major multitasking glitch in beta 5 when shutting down lots it goes invisible also speed so far isn't as snappy shutting apps down, kinda feels like a downgrade from beta 4 which was good

How is this at all proof its an iOS bug?? They could have removed it because its a server side issue. You have no way to say its one way or another. It very well could still be a server side bug, so they removed it from iOS until the server side is fixed.

Just because it was working for some and not others is definitely not proof. How many times does iCloud experience outages with Mail, Backup, iTunes Store, iMessages and only a very small percent of people are affected? All the time.

Reminders app still has the bullet points on the right side of the icon for me

Also, I cannot get my 10.5” iPad Pro to see the iOS 11 developer beta 5 for the life of me. My iPhone 7 Plus saw it immediately. I removed the profile and restarted my iPad, then redownloaded the profile. I guess I will have to keep trying. I have never experienced such a delay before.

They fixed the contact icon that was flipped so it now matches the icon in the settings app but the reminders icon is still flipped, but the settings app still shows the correct version. Wonder why they fixed Contacs but not Reminders.

I immediately noticed that they darkened parts of the logo of the ‘Settings’ app. The ‘Reminders’ app logo still looks funny.
Yep, I noticed that too; I quite like it.

Can someone test Gboard keyboard to see if it still lags when typing please?
Just tested it and it's much better than before, but there's still occasional hiccups and freezes.

From the release notes:

Control Center
New Features
• Tapping the Wi-Fi button in Control Center now disconnects from the current network and temporarily disables Wi-Fi networking. (32299242)
• The Bluetooth button behavior in Control Center now mirrors that of the Wi-Fi control. (32300000)

That should make a lot of people happy.

Edit: Apparently was there already in Beta 4.
