Seems just waiting it out works now. Same issue on mini 4 but just let it sit and finally asked to install. Interesting after the "preparing" finally finished, it went to the "checking for updates" then popped up the install button. These OTA updates have been a bit weird in these betas for sure.
Yeah, OTA has been very glitchy. Definitely unusual compared to all the past betas and even public releases. iOS 11 just doesn't like OTA.

The dots in text field for passcode unlock are now white whereas they used to be black. It’d always annoyed me that they were black on previous betas as they were hard to see against the default wallpaper.

A bug I’ve noticed is the Recent Apps bar in the dock no longer seems to be showing up

Edit: Recent apps is back after a restart

temporarily disables Wi-Fi networking

I noticed this. I usually disable WiFi if I get into my car and know I'll be streaming from Apple Music, because sometimes Apple Music gets confused if it finds it switches connections and stops playing. But I noticed that whenever I got home (or somewhere I can automatically connect to WiFi) iOS switches WiFi back on for me. Didn't know if this was a feature or a glitch.

Found a bug, as soon as you lock your phone press the lock button to turn your screen back on and your background will be black. If you screenshot it your screenshot will show the background despite it not being there

I don't suppose you use the Shell points app for petrol? Wonder what its like in B5. Its been rubbish in all other betas and crashing. lol. I love the 'fill up and go' bit.

why is 3D Touch still so laggy, and for all the people moaning to me I really don't care so stop being a kid lol
