iOS 11 Beta 5: Changes, Bug Fixes, Enhancements, etc.

Well this beta seems to be worse for me! That lock screen glitch that people mentioned earlier happened to me, screen went dark. Once I got to my homepage, phone was dead, couldn’t scroll or open any apps, my power button didn’t work so I couldn’t lock my phone. It took me 5 minutes to realise that the new reboot system for the 7plus is holding the power and volume buttons together. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen again. I honestly don’t understand how things can go worse from one Beta to another. Isn’t it suppose to become better with each beta?
 
Am I the only one who get really mad 3D touch to multitask is still not added back? I reported the bug which is still open and stated as reported already (They said they are still investigating the 'issue' and they do not know when they will address the issue).

My 7 plus only got hot, but all the things works like B4, and the hard reset has always be like that on 7 and 7+.

Considering the many posts I’ve read with your same frustration, no you are not alone. However, I did hear that the feature has been officially removed.
 
Does audio automatically route to Bluetooth? I was listening to music in my car via Bluetooth and disconnected from car, tried to connect back to the car, but it didn't connect. My car was in the list and I clicked on it, but it just stayed spinning and music was coming out of the phone only. I had to force close music app and it would work again. I will send a feedback, but wanted to know if anyone else has this issue.
 
Bug: Phone resprings after every lock. AKA Put in passcode everytime, can't quickly lock and unlock.

EDIT: Maybe related to not using touch ID to unlock. Enabling touch ID for unlock fixed the issue for me.

Hahaha but I asked this question for the first time ever, and rather genuinely. Thanks for not taking it as a troll! :D
 
Another issue, before when listening to music and phone is charging, the artwork would stay dimmed, now screen goes black. It should stay dimmed with the artwork showing like in iOS 10. I also reported this.

Yep good idea as things typically start out laggy and poor but after an hour or so and things seem to improve.

Not necessarily. They could work on a totally separate area and break something that was working in a previous beta. Just how it goes until a final merge of all code. But yeah typically things do improve with each beta but not necessarily going to in all areas. Someone stated earlier that "you have 99 bugs, fix 1 then have 199 more bugs".

Multitasking screen spontaneously flicking to the left is fixed on iPhone 7+.

Also CPU usage got much better, back at iOS 10.3.3 levels and not getting hot anymore.

to be fair iOS 10 toke like 6 months to get proper stable so it won't be to iOS 11.2.1 or something to get amazing :)

Update, it’s happened again, I get a notification, screen gets very dark, once I unlock it the screen freezes... if that’s going to happen a lot with me then I’m just gonna go back to 10.3.3. Going on holiday soon and the last thing I need is for my iPhone to act up

Mine is re springing as well at random times. have not noticed if its after every lock necessarily but will keep an eye out and try enabling touch id as well if that's the case.
