Force touch on the brightness in the control center crashes the springboard
I don’t seem to have this issue

Bug found:
  • 3D Touch in control center will respring your phone
I would try a reset. My visual voicemail stops working after every new beta release until I reset. I wish I had read about the bug you describe before I reset my phone to see if I had it.

My iPad Pro 9.7 freezes sometimes when I pull the new multitasking and it needs a full restart. Are you guys facing any problem this kind?

Actually the fix for this CC bug has just been added to the first post by the OP.

I updated the wiki with this too, but there is another new feature - panic button to deactivate using TouchID to lock the phone. Tap the power button 5 times and it'll lock the phone and prevent you from using TouchID to open the device. Pretty big feature.

On my iphone 7+ and ipad Pro 9.7(ATT), the first email notification always disappears when I receive another email.
I always have one more email than notifications showing.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

This has been happening for me since Public Beta 2 (iPad Pro 9.7”). I was hoping it would be fixed but I guess not. I have not yet downloaded PB5.

Navigation lock screen still doesn’t unlock with “Rest Finger to Open” turned on. You have to press the home button and it takes forever. It’s been a few betas and I’m thinking that this might be intended behavior now. This being a Accessibility feature though seems like an oversight if this is going to work this way going forward.

Works fine for me on my iPhone 7.

At what stage do you send a repeat bug report for major bugs that have been persistent throughout most beta releases?

I just noticed a few bugs playing music:

1. Album art is not working on any of the widgets using third party apps like pandora, amazon music, etc.
2. The text is not scrolling in the control center music widget
3. The connected bluetooth or airplay device doesn't always show on the widgets and sometimes reverts to iphone or ipad when the device is locked and then unlocked

Pinch to close and pressing home button appears to have different animations.

Pinch to close = zoom to centre then down to dock / app icon (slower)
Home button = zoom straight to dock / app icon (faster)

Is it any faster on 1Gb RAM devices than the last betas??

Over your head. Grow up. In 1995 windows 95 had performance settings which killed animations in the UI. 22 years later and apple still hasn't fully implemented that.

I asked in my original post whether that animation could be disabled. Still waiting on a useful reply. I have no use for that animation even if I wanted to buy some over priced AirPods.

1. Sure they have. It’s called Reduce Motion.
2. Why do you care about the animation if you don’t even own AirPods or plan on getting any?
