What was wrong with it before? It always worked fine on my iPhone 7 (besides slight framerate drop)
When you force touched an app it didn't always appear, sometimes you had to press it very hard. It was inconsistent. Now it's back to iOS 10 behaviour and by the looks of it, it is a little bit easier to invoke that 3D touch menu.

Unfortunately my first impression: This beta is a step back again for the iPad pro 10.5 . There are now small stutters nearly every nearly single time I open an app, additionally when switching on the pages of the home screen. Also the stutters in the multitasking switcher someone already mentioned in this thread somewhere were also not fixed (smooth when scrolling to the left, but stutters when going to the right).

It just doesn't feel good right now at all. I hope they address this before the GM, but I am actually starting to get a bit pessimistic, because with today they seem to have started to push delta updates, which don't change the core foundation that is likely responsible for this... Unfortunately I can't test it on an iPhone, but what I've read so far the situation there has improved.

Have you tried rebooting or resetting the settings? Each beta update has been a delta so there's nothing new there...that's why they're only 200-300 MB in size.

I am a Fan of detailed animations, but doesnt the new animation (lockscreen going up) combined with the new one („Fly in“ of icons) looks kind of messed up - what do you think?

Looks like the app closing animation is back to iOS 10 style, or was that changed in beta5 already?
I remember in previous betas an app would shrink to the center of the screen first instead of shrinking directly to its actual location.

If the app icon isn't on the page it will do the center animation instead. This has been the case since iOS 7. Maybe there was a glitch that made it occur at other times.

I noticed the animation for switching directly from one app to another seems to have gone back to something like the iOS 7/8 one instead of the 9/10 one. When did they change this?

Ahh, I think I mixed the two different animations between closing an app using Home button and closing an app using gesture.
If an app is closed using finger gesture on the same page of its Springboard location, it will do a little bounce to the center first.

Don't know if new - but zero's (0) are inconsistent on the General > About screen - but like them, it differentiates between the letter and the number.

You have to turn off Speak Screen in Settings > General > Accessibility > Speech and reboot your device for it to work.
Are you joking? If not then no that does not work. If it was a joke... got me, I went to turn it off.

Did you turn off "Speak Screen" or "Speak Selection"? I was mistaken and edited my post. Someone said it earlier in the thread and it worked for me.
