This will affect people differently, some people got used to the slow iOS animations and don't care, but others like me value as much responsiveness and snapiness as possible, hence my disappointment that Apple is backtracking and going back to the slower animation.

The fraction of time you mention that sounds negligible, to me it's not, because it means that if I try to tap an app while the animation is in progress, the tap won't respond. So right there you have a fault in the design, ie the phone does not register the tap and is slowing me down requiring the user to tap 1 or 2 times more until the phone finally responds.

That's just plain clunky, inelegant. All of this because Apple likes to show off animations. It's just inexcusable coming from the company that's the king of detail, the company that spent 1+ year making up their minds on what type of doorknobs to use at the new Apple campus.

So waiting an extra second really slows you down? Wow... I’v never LOL!

Looks the same to me. You can't open anything while the unlock animation plays anyway. What you CAN do is switch the pages while the beta 6 animation is in progress. This hasn't been the case since iOS 6, wonder if they'll leave it like that.

Interesting. In beta 5 you didn't have to wait until unlock animation is over to open an app. I was really excited about it... lets hope Apple doesn't do any more regressions

I’m getting a really annoying issue with Feedbacks Assistant whereby I submit feedback and it sends successfully, but then like a month later the feedback will only just register as having been sent. I’ve had responses from Apple saying the reported issue is for an old build, even when I sent the feedback weeks ago. Why is Feedback Assistant not sending feedback when it claims to be and instead waiting weeks before submitting it?! If I go to my submitted feedback folder, I have about 10 really old submittals which claim to have been sent TODAY?!

I’ve had the same problem throughout the entire beta. Everyday the old bug reports say they were sent today. It also appears the same bug reports keep uploading over and over and literally using multiple gigabytes per day even with analytics switched off.

I’ve had feedback app in split view and watched the same file keep restarting upload over and over before disappearing from outbox but data still uploading.

My iPad is uploading 50gb per month with all apps closed and iCloud off. It is constantly uploading.

I could be very wrong, but I was under the impression that the feedbacks are "submitted" when an engineer gets around to them - ie, they were SENT a long time ago, but now they've been officially submitted and are under investigation?

But it keeps updating the date each and every day. Even bugs that are now resolved.

Not for me
Well...
You are the chose one. :p
Joking.
Just tried for consistency, 3D Touch for all icons in my CC working as they should.
Yes. My CC works as usual. No issue.
Apple love to complicate things!!
This reminds me their motto: build a product everyone can use. And now they do the opposite.

Interesting that the iPhone 7 shows more options on camera compared to the 6S.
Not for me.
iPhone 6s Plus. Same old four options.
Not sure if I'm missing the point of the questions asking for 3D menus, but here's mine:

What exactly is different about the unlock animation? I didn’t notice any change
It is back to the old school “zoom in” animation, instead of just “swiping up” the entire lock screen up, which is faster.

Even tho color filters is not new, this is definitely new.

What was wrong with 3D Touch on apps? Never noticed a single issue throughout multiple betas.

What was wrong with it before? It always worked fine on my iPhone 7 (besides slight framerate drop)
As others pointed out, in previous beta, either I need much harder force and a bit longer time to activate menu, or calculate the “just enough” force and “just right” time to activate it.
Now, it is back to iOS 10 level.

My screen blurs when unlocking the phone randomly- have submitted the bug. 7 plus beta 6
