This will affect people differently, some people got used to the slow iOS animations and don't care, but others like me value as much responsiveness and snapiness as possible, hence my disappointment that Apple is backtracking and going back to the slower animation.
The fraction of time you mention that sounds negligible, to me it's not, because it means that if I try to tap an app while the animation is in progress, the tap won't respond. So right there you have a fault in the design, ie the phone does not register the tap and is slowing me down requiring the user to tap 1 or 2 times more until the phone finally responds.
That's just plain clunky, inelegant. All of this because Apple likes to show off animations. It's just inexcusable coming from the company that's the king of detail, the company that spent 1+ year making up their minds on what type of doorknobs to use at the new Apple campus.
Thank you, that did it for me. It was practically stuck all day, and I had tried everything else.Might go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage .... and see if you can deleting the update file and redownload it. Other than that, no idea.
Yes. I have this same issue on an iPhone 6 PlusDoes anyone's link to the app store work from Imessage screen?? I keep getting retry and goes no where..
Looks the same to me. You can't open anything while the unlock animation plays anyway. What you CAN do is switch the pages while the beta 6 animation is in progress. This hasn't been the case since iOS 6, wonder if they'll leave it like that. This will affect people differently, some people got used to the slow iOS animations and don't care, but others like me value as much responsiveness and snapiness as possible, hence my disappointment that Apple is backtracking and going back to the slower animation.

So a couple of things. Battery life is on par with iOS 10 on my 6s Plus. Oddly enough, I get pictures on my contacts (if I have picture setup) on my Mazda infotainment system. That didn't exist in iOS 10.
I’m getting a really annoying issue with Feedbacks Assistant whereby I submit feedback and it sends successfully, but then like a month later the feedback will only just register as having been sent. I’ve had responses from Apple saying the reported issue is for an old build, even when I sent the feedback weeks ago. Why is Feedback Assistant not sending feedback when it claims to be and instead waiting weeks before submitting it?! If I go to my submitted feedback folder, I have about 10 really old submittals which claim to have been sent TODAY?!
Which Mazda do you have?
I could be very wrong, but I was under the impression that the feedbacks are "submitted" when an engineer gets around to them - ie, they were SENT a long time ago, but now they've been officially submitted and are under investigation?
Mine has improved but isn’t completely fluid. There is a stutter where the menu opens 80% of the way, freezes momentarily, then finishes opening. I have a 7Does anyone else have an issue with 3D Touch where it’s not smooth and fluid?
Well...Not for me
Yes. My CC works as usual. No issue.Just tried for consistency, 3D Touch for all icons in my CC working as they should.
This reminds me their motto: build a product everyone can use. And now they do the opposite.Apple love to complicate things!!
Not for me.Interesting that the iPhone 7 shows more options on camera compared to the 6S.
Not sure if I'm missing the point of the questions asking for 3D menus, but here's mine:

It is back to the old school “zoom in” animation, instead of just “swiping up” the entire lock screen up, which is faster. What exactly is different about the unlock animation? I didn’t notice any change![]()
What was wrong with 3D Touch on apps? Never noticed a single issue throughout multiple betas.
As others pointed out, in previous beta, either I need much harder force and a bit longer time to activate menu, or calculate the “just enough” force and “just right” time to activate it.What was wrong with it before? It always worked fine on my iPhone 7 (besides slight framerate drop)
But it keeps updating the date each and every day. Even bugs that are now resolved.

Does anyone know where Auto Brightness on off has gone?
Did you found it? I’m searching it too.
depends on how you use your phone and how the beta would install, I believe. sometimes I don't face bugs that people are reporting. here's my usage statisticsGuys, beta 6 it's good for daily driver? Who it's battery on 7 plus ?
