Battery on iP7+ & Beta 6 is not good

Probably not just you, but as I stated earlier in this thread this beta is a performance mess on the iPad Pro 10.5. Im getting more stutters than in beta 2, which was subjectively the worst. At least battery life is decent and slightly improved from the last beta.

It definitely can’t keep up the 120 frames currently, so I hope for further optimization. I suppose this isn’t a problem with 60 frame devices.

It’s so strange how things can vary from device to device. I feel like my 10.5 is getting worse battery life and my iPhone 7+ is getting better. I left the house this morning for a bit and the iPad Pro was at 99%. When i returned less than 4 hours later it had dropped nearly 6%. Nothing running, just in standby.

Mine blurs the entire top and look nice imo. I’ve had issues though with the blur effect elsewhere, so it’s probably just a bug.

So strange! Yours looks like it’s held at the top of the screen whereas mine is not.

Current PUblic beta issue:

No longer getting alerts or badge notifications that I’ve received a text message or iMessage. I have to open the app to see if I have a message.

Notifications are fully enabled.

Anyone encountering this?

Same here, but Twitter. Developer beta. I turn them off & on from settings and still nothing.

Curious if anyone has lost the db cellular signal strength. I have an AT&T iPhone (Intel chipset)... and I have seen reports that the GSM code to activate field test mode doesn't work with the Intel chipset... but I set that up years ago (maybe around the iPhone 5/iOS 6), and just carried it forward by restoring my new phones from the previous backup... but I noticed today that it was no longer working... not sure when I lost it. Anyone?

Nope its not working for anyone in iOS 11. Seems Apple has taken it out. Verizon here but lots of articles out there regarding that change.

Thanks for that. Like I said, I knew that it was no longer possible to add it to at least some phones... clearly, it's not really a big deal... but funny that I just noticed it today.

You can still enter field test mode and get the other data but the signal bars just dont change to numeric values now. Its the same code to get into it though.

Yeah I dont either really but to Apple they just as soon as you look at the bars and not be to deep in the minutia of things like that.

Anyone here using any playstation apps? I can't log in on two of them, the capcha screen is broken. Also can't use facebook to log in to play zynga poker.

Yes I use the main Playstation app (the one with your friendlist etc, not PS Messages) and I can connect just fine.

Just a quick question, not related to beta's but with all the pictures I seee with wi-fi Calling enabled when I see a good cellular signal, is it realy worth it? When I tested wi-fi calling, the battery drain way faster when I was on the phone (talk) compared to normal VoLTE calls.

Isn’t there supposed to be a dark bar at the top of the screen when you scroll on the widget screen. Mine is clear and makes the scroll look sloppy.

This is a bug I reported back in PB1 or PB2. It happens on my iPad Pro intermittently.

3D touch on my 6S Plus is till pretty janky, there's a huge delay before the menu shows up.

They used Helvetica Neue in iOS 7. They changed it to San Francisco in iOS 9. Just saying...

Interesting, as I noticed on an unusually long call, just over an hour I dropped around 35% on my battery. Maybe I'm having the same issue then. Otherwise the battery seems quite good.

I’m having an issue with the iCloud hotspot. So my phone appears under my MacBooks WiFi menu but when I click on it my MacBook doesn’t connect and shoots back this error.

I have a flight later today and ... my boarding pass is showing on the lock screen! Raise-to-wake and the notification appears. 3D touch and I get the option "Show Pass". Happy! It hasn't worked for me in previous betas.
